Catrina's POV.
I was still in a bit of pain from the other night. I had just woken up about ten minutes ago. I was really happy that my father came yesterday, he was a big help. I was told by Madame Pomfrey that I was allowed to leave today. Right now, actually. She said, that after I take a potion, ten minutes after, I could go if I wasn't light headed, and I'm not light headed. It was breakfast right now, I was kind of nervous to see what people would think, I had no idea what to say, or make up. I didn't want Lupin to get fired, it wasn't his fault. Wow, I can't believe I actually said that. He's a monster, but he will do good things in the future and I can't interfere with that. I walked out of the Hospital Wing, I was in a little pain in my shoulder and back, but I didn't show it. I went to the Gryffindor Common Room quickly, and went to my dorm to put on my school robes, then I went to the Great Hall. I walked in and all eyes were on me. I slowly walked to Harry, Ron and Hermione with not emotions on my face and sat down.
"Hey guys." I said, smiling at them. I grabbed a bowl and started pouring cereal into it.
"Is it really true?" Ron asked, I met his eyes, confused.
"Is what really true?" I asked, now pouring milk into my bowl.
"When you went to search for Black, you were attacked by a monster, a big and nasty monster." Ron said, looking completely curious.
"Big yes, but nasty? I wouldn't say that. It didn't have control over what it was doing.. Who told you this?" I asked, taking a bite of my cereal.
"Fred and George." Harry said, I chuckled and rolled my eyes.
"Of course they would. Well, they were telling the truth. I was attacked, it scratched my back, shoulder and face. If you couldn't tell. But I'm fine. I put the monster to sleep before it could kill me." I said.
"How did you make it go to sleep?" Harry asked. I pulled out my dagger.
"With this." I said showing them.
"Can I see that for a moment?" Hermione asked, I nodded and handed it to her. She looked at it and examined it, that handed it back to me.
"You cover it in a sleeping potion, right?" Hermione asked, I smiled.
"Yeah, normally I have a poison on it, but I'm in a school full of people who can possibly do stupid things, I wouldn't want to kill them. So, I changed it to a sleeping potion, for now at least." I said, taking another bite of my food.
"And if you don't mind me asking, what kind of monster was it that attacked you?" Hermione asked.
"Hard to tell, it was really dark, so I wasn't able to identify what it was. But, just like people, I could tell it's fates, it was.. uh being controlled in a way." I said, Hermione didn't looked totally convinced but she nodded.
"Well this all make you like 50% cooler. The entire school has been talking about it." Ron said.
"Glad to know." I laughed, finishing my cereal.
...
Defence Against the Dark Arts was about to start, I knew for sure, that Lupin wasn't coming. He might be off for a few days. I'm not complaining because he had a rough night, and is probably in a lot of pain. Transforming doesn't look like it tickles. I wanted to see him, later on in the day, I don't think he knows what he did to me. Just then, Snape walked in the classroom.
"Turn to page 394." Snape said, I grabbed my book and began turning to page 394.
"Excuse me sir, but where's Professor Lupin?" Harry asked.
