"Father, you have to do something, she wasn't supposed to die." Apollo said to the King of the gods, Zeus. Zeus sighed and turned away from the lifeless body of Catrina Jackson.

"The fates have already cut her life string, she is gone." Zeus said. "There is nothing that I can do to save her now."

Zeus left the throne room, leaving three other gods to say their goodbyes to the young Demi-god.

"My dear daughter. You fought well. I am proud of all you have accomplished in this life." Poseidon said, he kissed the girls forehead before stepping out of the room. The goddess, Artemis stepped forward.

"You have fought well and bravely, young Huntress. I will never have a hunter like you again." Artemis said. After a few moments, she too, left the room.

The god Apollo knew that this couldn't be goodbye. There had to be a way to save her. He thought and thought. Nearly an hour had passed and he heard a voice.

"You know exactly what to do, dearest Apollo." The voice said. It was the voice of a female. A voice he heard once before, thousands of years earlier. Apollo turned to see the same woman from all those years ago. The same woman and child.

"It's you." He said.

"Yes, it's me." The woman said, looking down at the newborn child she had been holding.

"If you're alive, than there is hope for her, or you." Apollo said. The woman looked back up.

"Yes, there is hope. I am proof of that." She said. "But be warned, dearest Apollo, it is a forbidden act."

"Forbidden? You don't mean... no I can't, she could die." Apollo said.

"She is already dead. But think of it this way, I am living proof that it worked." The woman said.

"My father, he will never forgive me." Apollo said.

"Maybe so, but she will live. Whatever punishment he gives you, will go rewarded with her survival." She said. Apollo looked back at the lifeless body of Catrina.

"I'll do it." He said, looking back at the woman. But the woman and her child were both gone. He sighed and turned back around and knelt down beside Catrina. "Come back to me, Catrina."

...

"She lives?" Poseidon asked, entering the room. "What have you done to her, Apollo?"

Catrina lied on the marble bed, gasping for air.

"You will not like my answer." Apollo said. At that moment, young Catrina began shaking, not like she was cold, but like that of a seizure. "She is seizing."

...

"He now has a part of her blood inside of him, running through his vains. He now has Godly blood within him. Normally he would be the one feeling unbearable pain but he somehow learned how to trade the pain to go to her. He can control whenever she feels that pain." Posiedon said.

"She was foolish to let him hake her blood in the first place!" Ares said.

"It wasn't her fault, she is still learning magic and she was trapped. She couldn't have done anything even if she tried." Apollo said.

"Yes and for now we must watch her closely. We have found a way for the pain to fade to a lesser, this way she will can go back to that school." Zeus said.

"School, exactly what she needs. She hasn't been out of that bed since the night of the last task. She should do something, go somewhere. Like come back with me and the Hunters." Artemis said.
