Knock! Knock!

My heart drops,

The door flies open,
With fear, my mind is frozen,

He is coming closer and closer,
I am trying to keep my heartbeat a tad bit slower,

I keep my eyes shut,
I can feel wild twists in my gut,

Then, he invades my safe space, if any,
Within an instant my worth falls below a penny,

His eyes are dripping with lust,
All of my entirety is drenched in disgust,

He bounds my hands and seals my lips,
very swiftly but cautiously he then strips,

The whole night my body is battered and abused,
His insensitive heart is mildly amused,

He sees me helpless and defenseless,
Due to his pleasure in my pain, he is breathless,

And when he is over with his high,
He looks at me and faintly sighs,

As I look at him with lifeless eyes,
Slowly some part of me dies,

He sits there with a sly smirk,
I think something inside me irks,

But I am too weak to say something,
After the assault, I do not even consider myself anything,

As he speaks, his breath reeks of smoke and liquor,
The idea of another round makes my whole body tremble and shiver,

"Be a good boy" he tells me,
"vulnerability is the fate of thee".

-Hola amazing people!
Please tell me you were a bit surprised by the end?

Read the story version of this poem in my other book "Broken Tales".

I'm big on equality of rights and all, but I hate when advocating for women's rights, people overlook the needs of men. Guys get raped and battered too, I know the ratio is very less, but it is there. 1 or 100, it needs to be given the same attention.

Anyway, #1 IN POET OMG ALHAMDULILAH! thank you for all the love ♥️

Anywaaay lemme know what you think of it in the comments section! and Voteeeee ✨
