Some time ago, I told you,
That you remind me of brown,
An explanation is long over-due,
For the reasons to my choice, why don't you sit down?
To the world, brown is dull,
But to me, brown is underrated,
Undervalued by the owners of thick, hollow skulls,
Who cares about people with opinions so outdated?
First of all, let me make it clear,
You are too precious to be just a single color,
Rather you are numerous shades of brown, my dear,
Like the day of a mild, warm, happy summer,
When someone drowns in an ocean,
And saline water fills his lungs,
But he somehow struggles his way up by great devotion,
You are the brown shore that he hugs,
Or when the sky pours down relentlessly,
Or when the sun scorches every living being,
It's the strong brown land that stands tall, splendidly,
It is the brown sand that glistens, beaming,
You are the soft brown shore line,
You are the wise brown tree trunk,
To me, you are a life line,
Deep inside me, your essence has sunk,
Oh so when someone asks you what you are,
Tell them you are like the immovable brown land,
That gives rise to all the exotic colors there are,
The constant support to help you when you stand,
The ignored, unnoticed brown,
That doesn't need anyone else's attention,
Because you are too strong to be brought down,
Because you are present in every dimension.
