Cheryl's POV
As I waited outside of the room Toni was in, all I could do was cry.
Well, I also did a bit of thinking.
'Toni's been in so many fights and she's got so many scars, if she's not strong enough to carry on I'm fine with that, because I could be at peace knowing that she would be safe.' Was what I thought about.
"Cheryl Blossom, you can come in and see your girlfriend." John told me.
I immediately jumped up and ran into the room.
"What happened?" I asked John.
"Her heartbeat stopped. But it has continued and it shouldn't stop again." He told me.
"Ok, Thank you, but can I have some alone time with her?" I asked him.
"Of course Cheryl." He said as he left the room.
"Hi baby, I just wanted to say..." I started crying before continuing with, "You are the strongest woman I've ever known, you are the life of me, you've helped me find my reason to live. You. You helped me understand my sexuality and how my mother was so, so wrong. You made me happy. And I could never repay that. You read me when everyone else would skip my pages. You made me smile and laugh. You are the best thing that ever happened to me. And I know that you've been through hell and back, and you've taken many knife wounds and received a few bullets so I understand if you can't hold on anymore you don't have to. I understand if it's your time to rest. I understand that you'll be safe and at peace if you go. And I hope you understand that I love you and I'll never forgot you and I'm so grateful for what you did to help me. Toni Topaz I'm happy whatever happens. I love you." I poured my heart out to the most beautiful woman in the world before I admired her beauty.
I softly kissed Toni's forehead when I saw a small smile form in the corners of her lips.
"Toni?" I asked with teas streaming down my cheeks.
"I love you too Cheryl Blossom." Toni said opening her gorgeous eyes.
"Toni!" I excitedly yelled.
Toni sat up and looked directly into my eyes.
I leaned in and so did she.
She gently placed her soft lips onto my own.
At first I smiled through the kiss before I relaxed into it.
The kiss was slow and passionate.
As we eventually pulled away for breath I smiled at her and caressed her cheek.
That was our first kiss.
That was my first kiss.
I kissed Toni Topaz.
