Cheryl's POV
I ran towards the bloody body.
But I did not see Elijah.
I saw Toni.
Unconscious.
Elijah and I both tackled Penelope to the ground, Avery then joined in the fight when her and Noah appeared from the hallways.
Noah, however, rushed to Toni's side and took off his top and wrapped it around Toni's wound.
Avery then called Fangs, Pea, the police and an ambulance whilst Elijah held Penelope down and I helped Noah with Toni.
Pea and Fangs then arrived, and I remembered that they didn't even know that Toni was conscious, but they didn't ask questions, they just carried her down to the ambulance, where we all entered.
"I'm sorry mom." Elijah whispered as he pulled me into a hug, that was similar to Toni's embrace. "It's not your fault, Eli. It's that bitch Penelope's." I told my eldest as I watched Penelope drive away in the back of Kevin Keller's police car.
I watched the boys who just had their heads in their hands. "I'm sorry for not telling you that she was conscious, I just got overwhelmed at the fact that she was alive and that she could see our kids an-." I tried to apologize to the boys but got interrupted. "We understand Red, she's a mother and a lover now, not just a sister. Seeing her children, even if it's only once, will massively impact their life's." Pea told me with a small smile.
"Thank you." I whispered as we pulled into the hospital.
The triplets, Fangs, Pea and I all followed Toni's body to the room that the ambulance drivers took her.
I just sat down next to Toni, grabbed her hand and cried.
I met out all of my emotional s I had kept bottled up over the last ten minutes.
"I'm so sorry, baby. You didn't deserve this bullshit. Not again. Not ever." I sobbed to my princess.
"Mrs Topaz, do we have your permission to preform surgery on Anto-." The Doctors began as they entered the room. "Yes." I interrupted them immediately.
I was then dragged away by FP, who I didn't even know was here until he did so.
I just turned around and sobbed into my father-like figure.
"I'm so sorry, Cheryl." Alice whimpered as she hugged me like the mother I never had.
"Mrs Topaz, we have good news!" A doctor smiled as he walked in thirty minutes later.
"What?" I asked impatiently as I hopped off of my chair and ran up to him.
"The removal of the bullet was successful! You can go and see your wife now!" He smiled as he stepped aside.
I quickly thanked him before running into the small hospital room.
