Cheryl's POV
"He is, is t he." Toni smiled as she mounted her bike.
I grabbed her waist and allowed her to take me home.
We walked inside Thistle House and quickly got changed before zooming towards Pop's.
We finally made it.
We waited for Luke patiently while we chatted.
After a few minutes we heard the bell that signaled that somebody had entered the chocolate shop.
"Luke!" I greeted as he sat opposite Toni and me.
"Hey Cheryl, hey Toni." He smiled.
A waitress came over and asked us for our order.
"Please can I have a strawberry milkshake?" I asked politely.
"Please can I have a chocolate milkshake?" Toni asked.
"Please can I have a vanilla milkshake?" Luke asked as he closed his menu.
"Yes of course, your order will be here soo-." The waitress was cut off by violent screams.
My neck snapped so that I was facing behind us.
I saw a man walk in waving a gun around.
"Get down girls." Luke ordered.
We did as we were told, Toni holding my hand the whole time.
Luke got under the table and said "Stay here ok?"
We both nodded hesitantly.
Luke took a deep breath before going up to the man.
"He-." Like was cut off by the armed man yelling,
"What the fuck are you doing!?"
"I'm just here to-." Luke began as he slowly edged closer his hands stretched above his head.
"Come one step closer and I swear to god I'll fucking pull the trigger!" The man screamed.
Luke froze in the spot before saying, "What do you want? Money? I'll give you money, just leave these innocent people alone." Luke said gesturing towards the people at the table next to them.
"I want blood." The man said blankly.
"You!" The man yelled pointing towards me.
"Come here now!" He ordered.
Toni grabbed my hand tightly.
"I'll be fine." I smiled a broken smile.
Toni's POV
Luke looked at me, as if to say 'I promise she won't get hurt.'
"Ok. I love you." I kissed her before letting her go to the intruder.
The man quickly grabbed her neck and aimed the gun to her head.
"I WANT BLOOD!" The man screamed at the top of his lungs.
"Don't take her! Take me! Kill me and leave her alone!" Luke yelled to the man.
The man threw Cheryl away, she lost balance and fell into Luke's arms.
She started crying when Luke pulled her behind him.
I saw Pop ringing the police from behind his counter so I just hoped that Luke could buy enough time.
"Come here!" The intruder yelled at Luke.
Luke slowly edged closer towards the man.
He aimed the gun at Luke and looked him right in the eyes.
All of a sudden I heard sirens.
The man tried to run but Luke tackled him to the floor, holding him down and grabbing the gun away from him.
Luke stayed on top of the man until the police arrested him.
Cheryl's POV
"Are you ok?" Luke asked me.
"Y-yeah. Are you?" I replied.
"Yeah, I'm good." He told me.
"Toni are you ok?" He asked me beautiful girlfriend.
To I didn't reply verbally, but she hugged him, thanking him physically.
"Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you." Toni told Luke.
"For what?" Luke laughed back as he hugged Toni.
"For saving Cheryl." Toni said simply as she pulled away from the hug.
"No problem, I'd save you two girls any day of the week." Luke told us.
"Thank you Luke." We both smiled back.
"Shall we, erm, go?" Luke asked as he rubbed the back of his neck.
"Yeah, But can we get your number?" I asked him.
"Of course." Luke replied.
After exchanging numbers, everyone went home.
