Toni's POV
"...Now it is Toni Topaz's speech." The man who was organizing the funeral announced.
I nodded my head as a way of thanking the man before I stepped up onto the stage.
"Firstly, I would like to thank everyone here. You were all huge parts of Max's life. Anyway, Max was always a good kid. He was smart, funny and I'll admit, he was pretty good looking. Max has always been selfless, so selfless in fact, that he died saving somebody else's life. Max died a savior. My brother has always been caring and protective of me. When I came out to my family, everyone disowned me except from Max. After my mother and father had left, due to me being bi, Max came into my room and told me that I shouldn't be afraid to express myself. So that's what I did. I came out to my best friends, I came out to other family members and I came out publicly. The day I met Cheryl at the drag race, I told Max all about her. He said that as long as I was happy, I had his blessing to date her. The day I told him about Cheryl and me being a couple, he immediately hugged me and told me he was proud of the woman that I was. All I want to say is, I'm proud of you Max. I love you and I will never forget you." I read, each and every word laced with love and honesty.
I walked off of the stage to applause.
I sat down next to Cheryl and rested my head on her shoulder.
Damn I loved that girl.
"Well done babe." She whispered softly into my ear.
"Thanks Cher." I smiled back.
After the funeral we both went home.
"Crap Toni! Proms tomorrow!" Cheryl panicked.
"Hey, it's alright, everything's already organized." I reminded her.
"Oh yeah." She said calling down.
"Let's get some sleep, we'll talk in the morning." I told her.
"Ok baby." She whispered back as she cuddled into me.
I played with her red locks until I fell asleep.
I woke up to soft lips being pressed against my forehead.
"It's time to get ready for the prom!" Cheryl said excitedly.
"Ugh." I sighed as I got out of bed and headed to the shower.
After I got out, I dried my hair, and got changed into my dress. After getting changed I did my makeup and hair, which took about an hour and a half.
I walked out to see Cheryl fully changed and ready to go.
"We've got 2 hours to waste until it's time to go." She told me as she walked over. "Plus, you look beautiful." She smirked.
"Have you seen yourself!? You're gorgeous." I told her, making her blush.
"Anyway, what do you want to do?" She asked me as she wrapped her arms around my neck.
"Kiss you." I said as I pulled her closer to me and pushed our lips together.
After about 3 minutes if making out, we decided to watch a movie.
I picked horror.
Cheryl got scared at parts that weren't even scary.
Cheryl's POV
The movie was terrifying!
I cuddle up to Toni for most of it!
When the movie ended we decided to go to SweetPeas house, as that was where the limbo would be picking us up.
