Toni's POV
"Mom?" Eli asked as he and his siblings entered.
Cheryl quickly put her jacket back on before she turned her back to them. "We'll talk later, let me deal with your mom. She's ok." I told the triplets as I ushered them up the stairs. "I'm a disappointment." Cheryl whimpered after the kids went upstairs. "You're far from a disappointment, Cher." I told my wife as I placed my hand on her arm. "I've let down my kids." She whispered as she looked up at me.
"I've become the mother that my mother once was." Cheryl deadpanned. "Listen to me, baby. Your mom was homophobic, abusive and a monster. You're accepting, protective and an astonishing mother." I told my wife as I lifted her chin with two of my fingers. "You're not a disappointment, you're not a monster," I began as I gripped onto Cheryl's hand and she looked up at me. "You're... sensational." I finished before I leaned in for a soft kiss. "I love you." Cher sniffled as I pulled her in for a hug.
"I love you too, baba." I whispered to my wife.
"Forever and always." I told her again before pinkie-shake. "Now let's get your cuts cleaned up." I whispered to her before I carried her to the bathroom.
I then sat her on the sink while I stood between her legs and began to clean her wounds. "Thank you." Cheryl sighed as I helped her down. "It's my job." I smiled back to her. "Talking about your job, how did it go?" Cheryl giggled at me as I placed her down next to Harvey and Holly on the sofa. "Apart from us nearly dying, it was good. Turns out that man who tried to kill us was the man who shot Jonah. Kevin ran some DNA tests and they turned out positive." I giggled back to her as I put Holly on my knee. "Good. I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying it." Cheryl smiled back to me. "Mhmm." I hummed as the triplets came down the stairs.
"Tell us what's happening." Noah demanded.
You see, Noah is very protective when it comes to his family, especially his mom after all she's gone through. "Ok, ok. Cher?" I asked my wife.
"I cut myself, then I went to the Wyrm where a man punched me in the stomach several times." Cheryl explained. "And that mans gonna pay, I'm gonna ring Pea now actually." I told my family before I kissed my wife's head and left the room.
"Hello?"
"Hi Pea."
"What's up Topaz?"
"Cheryl went to the Wyrm and a man punched her in the stomach several times."
"Oh shit, what does he look like?"
"She said that he had black hair, a black beard, a scar under his left eye and green eyes."
"Alright, me and Fangs will sort him out."
"Thanks, Pea."
"No problem, Tiny."
I then hung up before I went back to Cheryl. "Rosa?" I asked when I saw my partner sat next to my wife. "Sup, Topaz?" Rosa grinned before she stood up and hugged me. "What are you doing here?" I asked her with a smile. "Just making sure that my partner's family is alright after... you know." Rosa nodded as we sat back down. "We're good." I smiled at Rosa. "Thanks." I continued as Harvey crawled over to me.
"Oh, I've done it again. Rosa, these are our triplets, Elijah, Avery and Noah, triplets, this is Rosa, my partner." I introduced everyone.
"Hey Rosa." The Triplets all smiled at the black-haired woman. "Hey guys." Rosa grinned at them.
"Oh, and these are our twins, Harvey and Holly. They're six months." I smiled as I picked up both of the ginger babies. "Hey guys." Rosa cooed at the twins. "Anyways, I better be off. My brother will want me." Rosa chuckled as she stood up and put her jacket on. "See you at work." I smiled before she waved and left or home. "Pop's?" Cheryl asked.
"That's my girl." I smirked before I picked up my phone.
