Cheryl's POV
I woke up with my wife's beautiful body in my arms. I just relaxed and enjoyed the feeling of her next to me. Eventually, I felt her begin to stir and I saw her open her eyes. "Hi baby." Toni smiled, sounding like she was relieved. "Hey baby, you don't need to worry about me, I'm not going anywhere." I promised me wife. "Good." Toni sighed as she relaxed into the embrace.
After we ate breakfast at the hospital, the doctor allowed me to go home since I was cancer-free. I thanked him and all of his team, Toni mirroring my actions, before we left. "The last time I was in this car I was having an emotional breakdown." Toni chuckled sadly. "You don't have to act strong, TT. I'm lot going to judge you for feeling sadness." I whispered to my wife as I placed my hand on her thigh. "You're right." Toni sighed as she relaxed into her chair and started the engine. "You always are." Toni smiled before we drove back home.
Toni then helped me out of the car before she locked it and led me into our home. When we got it, I saw Josh holding Avery close to him while she sobbed into his shoulder. "Avery, what's wrong?" Toni asked as she dropped the bags and rushed towards our daughter side. "She was worried that Cheryl would loose her pulse again." Josh sighed sadly as she rubbed his girlfriend's back. "Baby, I'm here now aren't I?" I whispered to Avery before I walked over to her. Avery just nodded her head against Josh's broad shoulder. "Where are Eli and Noah?" Toni asked Josh or Avery. "They're in the gaming room." Josh smiled when Avery didn't answer. "Thanks, come on Cher, let's go see them." Toni whispered before she held my hand and led me up the stairs. "Hey boys." I smiled as I entered the room.
"Hey mom." Noah grinned before he got up and hugged me. "Hey mom." Eli smiles before he hugged me too.
After we talked to the boys for a while, Toni ran me a bath. "Ok, you get in while I go and get the shampoo, conditioner and body wash." Toni smiled at me before she left me in the bathroom. But I just stood there. I didn't get changed, I just simply stood in the bathroom. "Is it too warm?" Toni asked as she entered the room. "Why aren't you in?" Toni asked me concernedly. I looked at the ground. "Do you want me to get in with you?" Toni asked me. I nodded my head in agreement. "Ok, let me help you get changed." Toni smiled before she took my clothes off, leaving me naked. Toni then did the same to herself before she told everyone that we were in the bath.
Toni then helped my frail body into the bath before she did the same to herself. Toni was behind me and she was washing my hair. "What do you want for dinner?" Toni asked me softly after she rinsed the conditioner out of my hair. "I'm not that hungry." I whispered to her. "Cher, I can see each one of your ribs, you need food." Toni sighed as she ran her hand over my ribs. "Can we get Pop's?" I whispered nervously. "If you wanted it, I'd get you the world. One way or the other. Anyway, of course we can have Pop's." Toni smiled back to me as she squirted body wash onto her outstretched hand. "Thank you." I whispered as Toni washed my own body. "You're welcome, baby." Toni smiled as she began to wash her own hair.
After our bath, Toni ordered Pop's whilst I got changed into Toni's hoodie and her shorts. Toni then got changed into my hoodie and my shorts, making me giggle.
When the food arrived, Josh, Noah, Eli, Avery, Toni and I sat in a circle on the living room floor and ate our food. While we ate we talked about everything. School, sports and more.
Josh then went home and the triplets went to bed while me and Toni fed the twins. "When you were... gone, I looked at Harvey and it made me cry because he reminded me so much of you." Toni confesses has she held the boy. I just nodded and lent my head on Toni's shoulder. I then closed my eyes and before I knew it, I was in a deep slumber.
