Healing ✔️ (Natsu x Reader)

Fight

It's after school now. I managed to make it through the day but now I'm dreading going home. I just know natsu will be waiting by the gate.

Should I avoid him or should I face him and tell him to back off?

Sigh.

I'd rather face him than avoid him. If I avoid him I know he will call me all night and I will get a earful tomorrow at lunch.

I walk to the gate and sure enough there he was. He looked so sad. I'll hear him out. I walk up to him and grab his hand.

"Come on. I know you want to talk. You know where I'm taking you." I say and he nods. He looks thankful I'm willing to hear him out.

We walk to the park hand in hand. I don't mind it anymore. In fact I like holding his hand. But I won't admit that out loud.

We make it to my spot at the cherry tree and sit down.

"Alright. Let's hear it." I say and he takes a deep breath.

"Sorry about lunch. I just thought maybe you'd like to see them again since we-well you all were friends before. I thought maybe we can all be friends again. I didn't mean to upset you. Honestly I didn't. When I saw how upset you were it crushed me. Please forgive me?" He says everything with such sincerity and sadness and gets down on his knees in front of me. I look into his eyes and I can see he's hurting because he hurt me.

"I forgive you Natsu. Just please. Don't try that again." I say and I see his eyes light up. He smiles a big toothy smile and hugs me so hard I fall back in the grass and he lands on top of me. He keeps squeezing me and I start laughing.

"Natsu. Air. Your heavy!" I laugh.

"Oops. Sorry." He says and gets off me but not completely. He stops and looks into my eyes. I just stare at him and blush at how close he is. I like being close to him but this is ridiculous. I can feel his body heat and his breath on my face. It feels like he's moving closer. I feel like I'm in a trance. Like he's hypnotized me.

Closer and closer he gets and I feel like I've stopped breathing. Time has stopped now.

I can feel his nose against mine.

Closer.

"HEY!!" I hear a yell.

Oh no.

Laxus.

I hear Natsu growl and he gets off of me. He looks pissed off.

"Hey what?!" Natsu snaps.

"I wasn't talking to you you pink headed asshole." Laxus snaps back and walks to me.

"What do you want Laxus?!" I yell

"I want you, that's what I want. And I'm not going to let some pink haired loser take you from me!" He yells and grabs my hand.

"Laxus I will say this slowly so you understand." I say and yank my arm away hard causing him to stumble a bit. "I. Don't. Want. You. In. Fact. I. Hate. You. Leave. Me. Alone!" I yell in his face.

He slaps me.

Oh that did it. Natsu tackles him to the ground and they started fighting. I stood there in shock for a moment. I then quickly got my phone and called the police. There's no way I could break them up.

The police came quickly and broke them up. We explained everything and they arrested Laxus and let us go since we were victims.

When the police left I looked at Natsu. He wasn't badly hurt but still a little beat up. Luckily Laxus didn't land a single hit on his face but the rest of him was injured.
