Healing ✔️ (Natsu x Reader)

Happily ever after?

December 23rd Natsu arrives at my house to spend the night before Christmas. The plan is for him to stay and we exchange gifts the next day and me goes home. He will return on December 30th and stay until the day before school resumes.

"Hey Natsu! I'm happy to see you again!" I shout and rush up to him and hug him tightly.

"I'm happy to see you again to Y/N." Natsu says and gives me a kiss.

"Ok love birds go somewhere else with that." My grandma grumbles and waves us off. We laugh and head into my room.

"Natsu. I can't wait. Can we exchange gifts now? Pleeeeeeeease??" I whine making Natsu laugh

"How about we just wait until midnight?" He smiles.

"Ugh. Fine. But what do we do until then? I'm to excited!" I shout happily

"Well there's something we can do but it would get us in trouble." Natsu says with a evil grin

"Yeah.....I'd like to live to see Christmas so no." I giggle and Natsu pouts making me laugh more

"Seriously though what can we do? It's to cold to go outside." I say with a frown

"I guess we can just watch tv?"

"For all those hours? No thanks."

"Well. Got any games?" He asks

"No." I reply sadly

"Well damn what did you always do before?" He asks

"Phone, tv, music, stare at the ceiling like a idiot." I lost off things and Natsu just chuckles at me

"Sounds like fun." He says sarcastically

"Oh it was tons of fun!" I shout just as sarcastically making him laugh

"How about music and dancing?" Natsu asks suddenly

"I don't know how to dance." I say sheepishly

"I do. I'll teach you. Come on." He gets up and holds out his hand which I take hesitantly.

He goes to my radio and plugs in his phone and plays music. He comes back to me and holds my hands as the song starts. It's a slow song.

"Just follow my lead." He says softly

"I'll try." I say in a low soft voice and watch him move.

I try my best to follow his lead but keep messing up. After the song ends a more upbeat one plays. The songs keep shuffling from fast to slow and we end up spending hours laughing and trying to dance to the music. Finally his phone dies and we look at the time. It was 11:30 and I got excited again.

"Almost midnight!" I squeal and Natsu laughs.

"Calm down before you really turn into a rabbit." He laughs

"Why do you say that?"

"Cause your hopping like one! Look at you! Your jumping up and down!" He says then erupts into laughter and falls in my bed holding his stomach.

I stand there and laugh at him laughing. His laughter is contagious and I just can't help it. By the time he calms down it was only 11:55 so I rush to grab his gift and he goes and grabs mine from his bag. We look at the gifts and smile. They are both small boxes and we can tell they are small but meaningful.

"Midnight. Finally. Open mine first!" I shout and hand Natsu his gift. He laughs and hands me mine so he can open his. He opens it and smiles brightly.

"I know what this means." He smiles and takes out a gold chain with a key on it. I get up and go to my nightstand and take out another box and hand it to him. He opens it and smiles more. He removes another chain with a heart on it that has a keyhole in it.
