Tord now sat across from himself, the Red Leader, at his desk; though his hands were handcuffed behind him since the Red Leader wasn't stupid.

"Pat got murdered after word of the Red Army got out. Some jackass killed him of all people for it. So I took revenge and got Pat's killer killed himself. After, a lot of people had very negative thoughts on the Red Army, and were disgracing Pat's memory." The Red Leader began. "Pau cheered the idea of me, or rather us, becoming the leader of the Red Army. And so I did."

Tord stared at him unblinking, "What happened to you- me I mean. Why a robot arm and an eye patch?"

"Oh, that? These are from way early on, and it fueled my hatred towards those who were clearly against the Red Army. Our house was burned to ashes, I barely survived with terrible burns, and Pau was barely harmed. The robot arm is because my arm was too jacked up; either prosthetic or nothing. The eyepatch? Lost an eye a few years later to a, I guess, knife fight." Red Leader explained rather calmly.

"This isn't right.., I wouldn't kill people!" Tord protests as the Red Leader stands up, making him shrink back slightly.

He walks circles around him as he speaks, "Oh, but you would~!" He says, "The first person we kill? We let the blood run through our fingers after mangling him with some janked up gun he'd shot our father with. Made him think twice about killing Pat. And you clearly like something if you do it again with more vigor. Decapitated someone without a second thought." He says in a mocking tone. Tord didn't know if this were true, or just to scare him.

The Red Leader comes to a stop in front of him, bending down so they were at eye level, "In fact, you more than killed people. You killed 'friends'. Edd? Matt? They did the same thing little Tommy here has done, and now they're dead."

"Wait, then you're going to kill-!?" Tord stops but is interrupted by the Red Leader speaking again.

"Out, get out of here!" He shoos, a guard that had walked with them there dragging Tord out of the room. "Bring me Thomas."

"No- hey! Let go of me!" Tord says as the guard literally drags him away.

-

Tom now sat where Tord had before, though his head was bowed and eyes staring intently at the ground; refusing to acknowledge the Red Leader's looming presence nearby.

"Hello, Tom." He says, looking at Tom pointedly.

"..." Tom doesn't respond.

"Weren't you ever taught not looking at people when they talk to you is rude?" Tord says, placing his mechanical hand on Tom's cheek, and forcing him to lift his head, glaring at him spitefully.

"I hate you.." Tom mutters quietly.

"What was that, now?"

"I HATE YOU!" Tom screams this time, "DON'T FUCKING TOUCH ME-!" He says, trying to free his hands of the handcuffs so he could actually get away from Tord. Obviously it didn't work.

Tord laughs darkly, putting his other hand on Tom's other cheek, "Tough words won't aid a helplessly pathetic situation, you know. If you hadn't time traveled and brought someone back here, you'd be fine; speaking of, why did you bring my younger self here?" Tord says.

"I said don't touch me." Tom says through bared teeth, trying to move his head out of Tord's hands and ignoring his question.

"You might be worse than Edd at this rate, and we all know what happened to-"

"SHUT UP!" Tom yells, interrupting Tord, "He had every fucking right to go back in time with Matt to fix your fucking bullshitty future you've forced the world into; you're the human equivalent to an animal carcass on the side of the damn road, and your pathetic army are the flies drawn to it like it's hypnotizing them."

Tord didn't take away anything from what Tom said and continued, "Edd and Matt turned out to be as significant as useless newts. You're racking up to be just like that yourself, and that's just sad at that point."

Tord clears his throat, going back behind his desk, "Why did you bring my younger self here." He says completely seriously for once, "We don't keep secrets from each other, right Thomas?"

Glaring around at anything that wasn't Tord, Tom answers, "To stop you from ever existing like this." He says glumly. "You used to be so different; almost opposite to this."

"Things can change quickly when suddenly an entire population cheers the death of one of your parents and seeks to rid the rest from the world as well. You know as well as I do what happened, and nothing would stop it from this happening. Not even your terrible plan of bringing him here to see what he'd do in the future; it'd probably just make him better at it than I am now!" Tord rambles.

"Oh no, I didn't bring him here for that at all." Tom says, looking straight at the Red Leader now, "I brought him here to kill you."

It was quiet at first before Tord started laughing, "You brought my past self to kill my future self? That's suicide; of course that wouldn't work on your end! How stupid are you, Thomas?"

"It doesn't matter If I'm stupid, as long as I make my hatred for your clear." Tom growls.

"I'd say that was the equivalent of half a penny; useless and over the top. Now, you know what happens to people creating fucking space-time anomalies, or trying to, right?"

"No- wait! What about the other Tord!?" Tom suddenly realises. Since the moment they were caught he knew he'd not get out of this alive anyways.

"I'm not an idiot, you fuckwad. I'm not going to do anything to him; He's me after all. Killing him will make me cease to exist at this point, making worse anomalies than anyone could handle."

"That's all you care about, huh? Maybe you were always like this inside, and you dragged someone into this hell with you because you think it's funny to hurt them." Tom mutters. "I know you're going to kill me, just please put him back where he should be. This future will change for him for sure now, but either way my past self still loves him, even if he is you of all people, and that shouldn't be ripped away with no warning like it was for me."

Tord stared at him blankly, seemingly thinking about what he'd said. It almost looked like he'd have a change of heart. Almost. He let out a huge sigh, "All you do is talk sob stories." He reached under his desk; a pistol coming into Tom's view, though he wasn't particularly aiming at anything right now. "Back then, this would seem ghastly to me, but in the instant of my family falling apart, and killing those two traitors, shooting you where you are will mean nothing to me anymore. I'm completely numb to death at this point."

"If you're going to shoot me, just shut up and do it!" Tom challenges.

Tord walks back around his desk and raises the gun to Tom's temple, smiling as he says, "Those are lame last words Thomas. Try again."

"This is just a big fucking game to you, isn't it?" Tom says, "You're not a god, you shouldn't have the power of life and death to so many in your hands alone."

"Yawn. Either take it or leave it Tom. You were too cool years ago to have some sappy speech for your last words." Tord says.

Tom stares at him in silence at first, before saying, "I regret ever letting you into my life, and introducing you to Matt and Edd. If you hadn't met them, they wouldn't have died the way they did so soon."

"Your point being?" Tord says, sounding impatient.

"There isn't really one. But there's the fact you haven't killed me yet after all this time staring down the barrel to a gun."

Tord glares at him, and just like that, a gunshot rings down the halls..

Hopefully the ending here makes sense! I finished this late at night and kinda started falling asleep from being up so late so uh sorry if something is a bit off or weird or whatever!
