Shadows Break Out (Loki x Nebula: Avengers)

Nebula POV

This Loki had huge golden horns on his head as a helmet, a long green cape and a kind of rayol outfit on made with green and golden cloths. He was Asgardians royalty. Normally you wouldn't see a Asgardian pass through here. Most people who helped Thanos were broken and beaten. Once Thanos gave them a job, they failed and he would do his best to make sure that they don't fail again. Nebula felt this first hand. She wouldn't fail.

Nebula's stolen ship was a battleship. It was from a battle that took place over Zendar for the power stone. The glass was broken on the front window when she arrived but she fixed it up along with her hand.

She walked into the ship without talking to Loki. Sitting in the captain's seat, Loki sat down in the passenger seat. Leaning his staff up against the side of the ship. He looked at Nebula.

She could feel his eyes on her. This was something she was used to, being the only child of Thanos that was a cyborg.

"I'm Loki." Loki said, trying to break the haunting silence.

The ship started up, closing the ramp on bored.

"I don't care." Nebula told him back.

The ship zoomed into the galaxy. The haunting silence came back. Nebula knew Loki didn't like how she wasn't talking.

"I'm doing this because my brother is ruling Asgard, but I wanted to rule Asgard." Loki said, it sounded childish but Loki wanted to get Nebula talking, she was hard to read. "So I'm going to take his Earth that he loves."

Nebula looked at him, his side profile was very define. From his pointed nose to the little curl in his dark hair. The way only one horn lined up in front of the other make him look more like a masterpiece than someone trying to take over a planet. Noticed the way he talked about his brother, it wa alike he didn't like him but had a deep care for him still. It wa alike how she talked about Gamora.

"I have a sister." Nebula low voice said.

He turned to face her.

"She is Thanos's prize and joy, while I am..." She didn't know why she was telling him this.

Loki face full of connection. His face said that he knew how it all felt.

The rest of the trip was silent. Nebula thought about what he said. How he knew how she felt. It was odd to meet someone who was so much alive herself. So many feeling started to toy with her thoughts, so she stopped thinking. Prove yourself. Was what her thoughts were replaced with. You are better than Gamora. Prove yourself. No room for feelings, prove yourself.
