Shadows Break Out (Loki x Nebula: Avengers)

Nebula POV

Every piece of her body ached. Every machine part started to rebuild, pulling on her organic parts. The pain was unbearable but Nebula felt worse at the hands of her father. Her torso slipped back together, making a clicking sound. Her legs were next. Like a wave, they snapped back into the shape of legs. Then her arms. One of her wrist was flipped backwards and looked as painful as it felt. It snapped back in place.

This brought the flying man's eyes towards Nebula. He was amazed.

Once one of her arms was back to full strength, Nebula pushed her body off the ground. Lifting her legs so they could push off the ground to stand her upright.

"Captain!" The flying man says towards the other man.

This makes Loki and the "Captain" stop fighting each other and look over at Nebula snapping together again.

She stood up. The 'fixing wave' moved up her neck as she snapped her head to look at the men. Her jaw was unhinged. Her eyes looked towards the flying man, then full of anger and revenge. That hurt and to put the icing on the cake, her jaw clicking back into place.

The flying man, Captain and Loki (along with other bystanders) all had their eyes on Nebula. She opened her mouth. A battle cry, much like a roar, escape her mouth. Like most of her words, it sounded robotic.

She rushed towards the Iron Man. Picking up her two weapons on her way towards the Iron Man.

Loki took this moment to smack the Captain in his head with the butt of his scepter. The colorful man with the shield was on his hands and knees. Loki rested the butt of his spear on the back of the Captain's head. "Kneel." Loki told the man, a wicked smile spread across his face.

One of her swords sliced across chest of the suit. It made a terrible nose, like nails on a chalkboard. It did leave a long scratch on across his chest.

"Aw shit!" the Iron Man said, his voice robotic like Nebula. He pointed his arm at Nebula, loading up energy in the blaster on his palm of his hand. Aiming it at Nebula, he fired but the cyborg ducked under the line of fire.

She scraped his suits legs with her sword. Twisting around again, she kicked at his legs. But the suit was planted. Nebula grunted.

Reaching down, the Iron Man grabbed Nebula's metal arm, in his hand. Lifting the blue assassin off the ground and looking at her. "Are you working with Loki?" he asked her.

"Put me down-" Nebula yelled at the Iron Man. She poker her sword at the man's armor.

He grabbed it and pulled it out of her hand, throwing it away from her. "I think you are." The Iron Man said to her. Then he looked over at his friend with the target shield.

Loki had his specter on the top of the man's head. The man was kneeling before the god. "Kneel." Loki said, pride is his eyes.

"No one's kneeling to you-" Iron Man snapped at Loki. Then with that  he winged one of his arms, still keeping a strong hold on Nebula. The Iron Man fired at Loki, making Loki fly backwards.
