''Have you both slept yet?'' I asked Jaxon and Gabby.
''About 2 hours she wouldn't settle at all last night.'' Gabby said drained I looked at my unsettled niece in her daddy's arm.
''Her stomach is very hard has the midwife been out yet?'' I asked rubbing the baby's forehead.
''This morning was her last day she said everything was looking great.'' Jaxon said blinking slowly.
''I think she is constipated.'' I said to him Gabby frowned.
''Can I? '' I asked Jaxon he nodded giving me her I kissed her head and walked in putting her on the table.
''Have you get Vaseline and cotton buds?'' I asked.
''Yeah.'' Gabby said getting me them I opened the baby dipper
''I don't know why the midwife didn't notice her was constipated, mom done this with Joseph.'' I said putting some Vaseline on the cotton bud and put it up her bum and I swirled it around. About 10 seconds later her boo came out grey like and hunter green, she kept pushing and it was a mustard colour. Her face went back normal colour I smiled and cleaned her up and put a diaper on her and picked her up kissing her head.
''Now do you feel much better honey?'' I asked she yawned
''My poor little baby girl has been all this pain and mommy didn't now I'm so sorry.'' Gabby whispered taking her from me cuddling her daughter close.
''If you have to do this more than three times a week you should be her to the doctor.'' I said and put the dirty diaper in the bin.
''Why won't she sleep.'' Jaxon asked as the baby was put in her Moses basket she trashed side to side and her lip trembled and she started crying.
''She sleep during the day.'' he nodded.
''That's the thing she sleeps in the day and not at night you need to switch it around keep it bright in the day and a bit noises to stop her from sleeping.'' I said the both yawned in unison.
''I can take her tonight if you kids want and get some sleep you look like the living dead.''
''No, no it's ok.'' Gabby shook her head Jaxon sighed she glared at him I smiled.
''I can stay here and watch her I've nothing else to do.'' I shrugged
''Really?'' Jaxon asked Gabby thumped him.
''Babe stop it ok.'' he said firmly to her she raised her eyebrow ''Gabby we're both exhausted we're up every night with her and we don't get to sleep during the day, well I don't know about you but I don't I'm still have college to go to everyday on 3 hours sleep.'' he sat on the sofa looking at the ground.
