''What are they?'' Dr Willis asked as I walked into the labour room holding my bag panting.
''3-4 minutes apart lasting 50 seconds but the last two where 2-3 minutes and lasted 30 seconds she only got the first one 15 minutes ago, 4 hours after her waters broke.'' Justin said she nodded.
''Right let's get you up on this bed and monitored.'' she said leaving the room I took my shoes off and pulled my dress off and bra, Justin gave me my nightdress and I slipped it on and took my underwear off and he put them in the bag while I got up on the bed and the doctor came in putting her gloves on.
''Ok put your feet up and we'll check.'' she said I put my feet up looking up at the ceiling breathing deeply.
''Ok Arabella you are on your way 4cm dilated.'' I let out a gush of air.
''I need that needle you guys use.'' I said she smiled.
''Try holding off for a while then I'll have my doctor insert it, you get it now it may were off by the time you deliver.'' I nodded she pushed my nightdress up and monitor the baby; I looked at the screen with rating I never saw before.
''Is everything ok?'' she smiled and nodded.
''Yeah everything is fine, baby heart rate is fine, your heart rate, shouldn't be too long nice deep breath.'' I hummed falling back to the pillow.
''Did you text everyone?'' I asked and looked at Justin he nodded looking at me, looking petrified I put my hand out he took it and kissed the back of it.
''If I curse you and wish your dick to fall off I don't mean it ok it's just the pain, I can deal with it, after all I'm bringing our baby into the world right.'' he smiled and kissed me softly I smiled and he sat up sitting on the chair beside me holding my hand trying to help me get threw my contractions.
''You're doing great honey nice deep breaths.'' he said pushing my hair back dapping my forehead with a ice cold wet cloat that really done wonders.
''Are you tired?'' he asked I shook my head
''We slept from 8 last night till 10 I'm well rested, I just hope it's over by the end of the day.'' he brushed my cheek and nodded.
''My back is killing me.'' I cried feeling very flustered very painful and very feed-up. The nurse helped me stand up and I leaned over the bed and Justin rubbed the end of my back.
''The pain his travelling around to my stomach.'' I gripped the sheets and saw the young blonde nurse trying to chat up Justin.
''Get the fuck away from my husband now before I make sure you don't leave a hospital bed!'' I shouted at her then cried in agony.
''Ok Arabella you need to get back on the bed and I'll check your cervix and I'm thinking the epidural.''
