''Where the hell is he?'' Justin sighed rubbing his forehead in frustration
''Honey relax he'll be home soon I'm sure.'' Bella rubbed the back of his back and walked into the kitchen. She took her phone out and rang Jasper's number but not got an answer.
''I told him this was a once off half 10 no later.'' Justin said picking his keys up.
Bella looked at the clock it was 11:00pm and he was half an hour late. He kissed her cheek and walked out. He was hard on curfews. All the others are treated the same especially on a school night and if they were in their friends' houses then an extra half an hour was alright, but when you're told by all his friends parents he wasn't there was nerve-racking.
He drove around the estates his friends live in. He frowned seeing a gang of about 5 guys running down the road with hoods up and scarfs covering their faces.
Deep in the pit of his stomach he knew something wasn't right. He drove faster down the road seeing and hearing people screaming a figure stood in the middle of the street holding his side stumbling and swaying, he slowly turned around and Justin heart drop.
''Jasp.'' he whispered taking his belt off and leaped out of the car.
''Jasp.'' he cried running to his son who eyes widen looking at him and he feel to the ground.
''Jasper.'' Tears filled his eyes as he son gasped for breath he looked at his stomach blood covered his top.
''What happened?'' He cried, pulling his top off and pressed his weight down on the wounds.
''CALL A FUCKING ALMBULANCE DON'T JUST STAND THERE!'' He screamed and looked down.
''Jasper, son keep your eyes open ok.''
''M-mom l-love h-her.'' he coughed blood.
''No, don't you dare tell me that ok you're going to be fine, you need to be strong.'' He said and looked up.
''You come here now!'' He barked at a kid who came over.
''My pocket ring my wife and tell her to get to this street now.'' The kid took his phone out and found the contact number.
From the distance he could hear the ambulance; he looked at Jasper who was looking at him a tear ran down his cheek
''You need to be strong ok, I'm not burying you Jasper you can't leave us.'' He cried feeling death taking over him seeing his son bleed to death and not being able to stop it.
At once police ambulance and a fire truck pulled up
''Sir I need you to move.'' A paramedic said
''He's my son I'm not leaving him.''
''Sir we need to get him into the ambulance please he doesn't have much time.'' He moved his hand and one paramedic put her hands where his was while two other left Jasper and put him on a stricter.
''JASPER!'' he heard a heart dropping scream, he turned around to see his frantic screaming wife being held back by guards
''That's my son get the fuck off me!'' She screamed pushing them off, they weren't fast enough to get catch her and she ran over
''Jasp.'' she wailed.
''M-mom, m-mom I'm s-scared.'' Justin covered his mouth holding a sob back.
''I know baby but you're going to be ok I promise I'm going to make sure they take care of you, you just need to be strong ok.'' She cried kissing his face.
''D-don't leave m-me'' he begged she shook her head.
''I'm not going anywhere I promise baby.'' she said and looked at Justin, neither had words for each other. He heard the screams of Kale who came with his mom being held back.
''Get the fuck off me that's my little brother.'' he roared in anger.
Bella got in the ambulance he was becoming whiter and whiter by the minute.
''You can't give up Jasper, you've so much to live for baby you hear me, you've a big family who love you.'' he squeezed her hand with the little bit of energy.
''Open your eyes baby.'' She begged when they close.
''Jasper Bieber you open your eyes right now young man.'' she scolded they slowly fluttered open.
''Good now keep them opened ok look at me ok baby just focus they're going to take good care of you.''
Looking at his mom heartbroken face hurt more than being stabbed. He held her eyes fighting the sleep, he had too much to live for, he had little brothers and sisters who he grew up protecting, older brothers and sisters who protected him and mom and dad who loved him, and a new born niece he couldn't put them all through the loss of him. He wasn't going to be the one to break the family chain.
When the pulled up to the hospital she didn't let go of his hand the entire way until she was stop my nurses.
''That's my son I have to be with him please.'' she begged.
''Ma'am, ma'am the doctors are going to operate they can't have you in their crying, please sit down and we'll inform you with what's going on.''
''Don't let him die.'' She begged the doctor. ''Don't let me have to bury my son please.''
Justin stood behind his broken wife who begged the doctor.
''I'll promise I won't.'' he said before rushing off with the nurses, she fell to the ground and cried into her legs. He bent down picking her up kissing her head.
''He's going to be ok baby.'' he whispered the tears he held in ran down his ran. He sat her down and held her tight.
''J-Justin.'' she cried he held her tight.'' He is going to die.'' she whispered.
''No'' he said firmly making her look at him.'' He's not going to die he is a strong kid he's going to pull through this.'' He said she cried into her hands he pulled her back to him.
The next four hours the waiting room filled up of his broken hearted kids his brother his wife and his and her parents. He looked over at Bella who sat at the door tears still ran down her face. He wondered how she had so many tears, he was dried out an hour ago and she was still going.
''Please mom don't take him, don't take my baby from me.'' She cried into her legs. If the pain he was feeling wasn't killing him that just did. He left the room taking a breather outside and spotted the doctor coming out of the operating theatre looking exhausted.
''Mr Bieber.'' he spotted Justin and walked down to him.
''If you're here to tell me my son is dead don't, please don't.'' Doctor shook his head.
''Your son is one strong young ma-'' the door shot opened a red eyed Bella stood there.
''Is he ok is he alive?'' She rushed out.
''Very much indeed, I managed to stop the bleeding, he is in recovery he should wake up in a few hours, he'll be very sore but he is ok.'' She tackled the doctor into a hug thanking him a hundred times over.
''What's the injuries?'' the doctors eyes read sympathy and pain.
''He was stabbed three time, twice in the ribs one in the abdomen, none of the blades hit an archery, thank god it didn't otherwise I'll be delivering bad news right now.'' Bella cried, Justin pulled her into his chest.
''Thanks Doctor when can we see him?''
''He'll be out of recovery in about half hour I'll have my nurse come get you both then.'' they thank him and he walked away relieved he didn't have to break a promise to the boy's mother.
''See I told you he'd be ok huh.'' He whispered she wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged him tight kissing his cheek he wiped her tears away and just stood in the middle of the hallway hugging.
Thank you god for not taking my son.
''Come on we've to go tell the others.'' he took her hand and walked in they all stood up.
''He's in recovery he's not going anywhere.'' the girls fell into their seats crying with relief as did their brothers.
''Thank god.'' Alicia said blessing herself.
''Awh Honey.'' Gabby got up hugging her sister who still was a crying mess. She wiped her tears.
''Hey now you can stop crying.'' Bella sniffled catching her breath.
''I died a thousand deaths today'' she wiped her cheeks.'' The thoughts of putting one of my kids in the ground before me frightens the life out of me, my biggest fear is out living any of them.'' Gabby hugged her tight.
''He's fine you've to be strong for the other's now ok, find these bastard who done this.''
Justin looked at Jaxon Benny Eric Paul and nodded out the door, they all slipped out quietly.
''When I was driving around last night I saw a group of 5 guys in black clothes running down the road I didn't get a look at their faces because they were covered but they had bandana's on their faces, not any bandana's, white and purple with VA.'' he said Jaxon frowned looking at his brother in law's then back to his brother.
''Why the hell would Jasper have anything to do with ''Valley agers?'' he asked confused Justin shrugged.
''I've to wait till he wakes up, I don't want to talk about it around the kids or Bella, I'm going to take care of this myself.''
''Count me in, any little bastard who tries to kill one of our own, deserve to be on a slab.'' Paul said. The door opened Bella stood their looking between them all confused.
''What's this?'' Justin shook his head pulling her to him and hugged him.
''Are you ok baby?'' she mumbled into his chest he nodded kissing her temple.
''Mr and Mrs Bieber?'' they both turned to see a nurse.
''Can we see him now?'' Bella asked the nurse nodded, Bella grabbed Justin's hand and pulled him along with her pushing the doors opened of the room he was in, in the ICU. She looked through the class she him laying still on the bed.
''Oh my god.'' She cried covering her mouth his how lower stomach was wrapped up and he was pale and two nurses where standing over him.
''Is he awake?'' The nurse nodded.
''He came around ten minutes ago looking for his mom, he panicked calling your name but I told him you had to wait outside during the surgery, once he was relieved of that he fell back a sleep but he's not fully asleep, dosing on and off.'' She said, Bella heart broke, she wasn't their when he woke up.
''M-mom!'' he called out
''I w-want her.'' his voice broke she pushed the door opened running over to his side.
''Shush baby I'm right here.'' she whispered pushing his hair off his forehead; he opened his eyes tears spilled down her's.
''I'm alive.'' he whispered she nodded sniffling.
''I told you, you'd be fine.'' his eyes welled up, she kissed all over his face and the back of his hand.
''D-dad he was t-there.'' he said Justin walked to the other side of him.
''I'm here buddy.'' he said kissing his forehead.
''I'm so tired.'' He said.
''Go to sleep we'll be here when you wake up.'' Justin said, the next thing, Jasper eyes closed and he was asleep. Bella kissed his forehead and rubbed his cheek.
''You're going to be just fine honey.'' she whispered rubbing his cheekbone. She pulled the chair closer to the bed and sat beside him, slipping her hand under his and rubbed the back of it.
''There's no point in everyone waiting around he'll be out for the night, send them home will you?'' she asked Justin, he nodded kissing her head and walked back to the waiting room.
''How is he?'' Gabby asked he nodded.
''He's good, he was awake for a couple of minute now he is asleep, you guys are better off going home get a few hours' sleep, he'll be out for the night, I don't know when you guys will be able to come in and see him.''
''What about mom?'' He smiled slightly at Ethan.
''She won't leave that room until he's coming home with us.'' They all nodded in understanding.
''Ring me when you get home ok?'' Kenzie nodded hugging him tight.
''Give him a kiss from me ok.'' he nodded hugging everyone and leaned against the window looking at the clock, it was after 4am and he was wrecked.
''Hey come on now.'' He said seeing her still crying, she wiped her cheeks.
''Sorry.'' She whispered he crotched down in front of her picking up her hand and kissed her knuckles.
''You've nothing be sorry for ok, I know you're upset baby I know how you feel, you just need to be strong honey.'' He kissed her cheek and sat on the other chair on the other side of the bed.
The early hours of the morning past to noon, he only woke up or once when they checked his blood pressure, but his grip on his mom's hand never loosened, during the second wake up he grabbed his dad hand and fell back asleep gripping both of their hands.
''Mom?'' she heard a croaked she stood up looking down at him.
''I'm here baby.'' She said Justin picked the ice cold glass of water up and put the straw in Jasper's mouth.
''How are you feeling son?'' He asked.
''Sore.'' he winced and looked at his mom smiling slightly as he squeezed her hand.
He was the momma's boy, out of all the boys he was a momma's boy and being 15 he was never afraid to show it.
''I'll buzz the nurse.'' she said hitting the red button and ran her hand through his hair. She kissed his forehead feeling tears coming to her eyes.
''Mom don't cry I'm ok.'' he said through gritted teeth when he tried to move she nodded and turned to the door as the nurse came in.
''We'll need use to move out of the room, while we check his wounds.'' The nurse said Bella shook her head.
''Sweetheart.'' Justin said.
''No, you kept me out of the operating room, I'm not leaving him for nothing so you can check him with me here in the room.'' She said firmly, the nurses sighed giving in and nodded. She stood at the window pulling Justin behind her, his hands rested on her hips.
''Ow dammit.'' Jasper hissed through his teeth.
''Sorry sweetheart.'' his head fell back on the pillow biting down on his lips, Bella saw a little bit of blood on his lip and gasped. Justin kissed the back of her head and watched the nurse clean and check his wounds then re dressed them.
''What that's?'' Bella asked nodding to the bags of medicine she was putting on the drip.
''Morphine it'll last a couple of hours and this one is to keep him hydrated.'' she nodded.
''We're going sit you up ok?'' the nurse said he nodded putting his arms on the bed, grunting as he moved with them.
''Thanks.'' Justin said to the nurse sitting down beside Jasper. When they left Bella sat back down.
''Your dad was stabbed twice when we were younger.'' Jasper looked at his dad.
''You were?'' he nodded.
''First time I was stabbed in the side and shot in the lung, the second time was when your mom was expecting Kenzie, It was in the right lung and in the bottom of the spine, I lost feeling in my legs for four days, thought I was going to be paralyzed but I went through surgery and it worked.'' He said Jaspers eyes were wide.
''Whoa how didn't I know this?''
''Not something we like to talk about, you know how my back hurts a lot?'' he nodded'' it's down to that.''
''You're alright now though right?'' Justin chuckled and nodded.
''I'm fine son.'' Jasper nodded rubbing his face.
''Since we're spilling out injuries, mom was shot in the side.''
''What?'' he gasped looking at her his eyes wide and his mouth open in horror she smiled.
''It was only a graze, it was a few days before I killed Santiago.''
''It was a pretty bad gaze, that was the one time in my life I thought she was going to die, she lost a lot of blood.'' Justin eyes went cold and distance she reached over Jasper and squeezed Justin hand bringing it to her lips and kissed it.
''But we're fine just like you're going to be, it's going to be a long recovery but we're here through it all ok'' he nodded and looked at Justin.
''Can I talk to dad for a minute mom?'' She frowned and looked at Justin.
''Why?'' She frowned harder he sighed looking at his hands then to her she sighed.
''Fine I'll go get us something to drink are you hungry or thirsty?''
''Ice cold water.'' he said she nodded holding her hand out for money, Justin took his wallet out putting coins into her hand and she left.
They both watched her walk through the double doors then back to each other.
''What happened?'' Justin asked.
''I was coming home from Carl's place they just came out of nowhere, one of them go to my school and they were all asking me to come join their gang and they were better than 'The Crisps', I told them I wasn't getting involved with any gang, they called me a pussy I laughed at them, yeah because I don't want to ruin my life and become a scumbag I'm a pussy, one guy punched me and I punched him busting his nose open then they pulled out knifes, it all happened fast, I think they expect me to be dead because they pulled the scarfs off so I could see them.'' Justin growled.
''What's going to happen dad, I don't want mom to know about it?''
''Jasper if we don't tell her it's going to cause a lot of fights and she'll never forgive us, she already blames herself for letting you stay out an extra half hour last night.''
''That's not her fault.'' Justin smiled slightly.
''She's your mom, it's how she thinks, we're different, I love all you kids to death and I'd give my life up for use in a heartbeat but your mom that love she has goes beyond in love she'd kill every single one of those bastard slowly, let them bleed out for days, let wild animals feed from them, a mother's love is something no man will ever understand, she carried you for 9 months she's been protective ever since the sperm hit the egg.'' Jasper chuckled a little.
The double doors opened catching their attention, a red eyed pale looking Bella walked in through carrying a bottles of water Dr pepper and Packets of M&M's. She stopped at the nurses' station saying something the nurse who nodded and she walked back towards them, pushing the door opening with her shoulder.
''The nurse said you can eat in a couple of hours, if you're still feeling sick pass on food.'' he nodded she sat down passing the drinks out and opened her own then put it on the locker crossing her arms.
''So are you going to tell me who done it?'' They both looked at her she rolled her eyes.
''Like I didn't know what use were talking about, you look ready to rip someone's limbs off.'' she said to Justin.
''I'll tell you later.'' he narrowed her eyes she sighed and nodded stifling back stifling a yawn.
The rest of the afternoon past and with clearance from the doctor he was allowed four people in with him. Justin left to let three people come in, she bluntly told them she wasn't leaving his side and they accepted.
(ARABELLA'S POINT OF VIEW)
''How is he looking?'' I asked the doctor who performed surgery on Jasper.
''He's looking good, seems to be a fast healer, it's good that he is able to move, I want to keep him in for a couple more days.'' I sighed but nodded.
''Looks like you can do with a few hours' sleep and something to eat.'' I waved him off.
''I'm fine.'' he raised his eyebrows.
''Mommy!'' I turned to see Mia I smiled bending down as she crashed into my arms. I kissed her head picking her put hugging her tight.
''How are you baby?'' I asked pulling out looking at her.
''Are you sad?'' she frowned rubbing under my eye I smiled softly.
''Mommy is just being a mommy, are you ready to see your brother.'' she nodded rapidly I kissed her head putting her down taking her hand and walked down to Jasper's room. She ran in front of pushing the door opened.
''Mia be careful he is sore.'' Justin said gently lifting her up on the bed. Jasper smiled kissing her cheek and hugged her
''I've missed you.'' she sniffled my heart clenched.
''I've missed you too baby sis.'' he kissed her head and I carefully sat her in the middle of his bed.
''When are you coming home?'' She asked
''In a couple of days sweetie.'' I answered, she pouted but nodded.
It's been almost a week since that tragic night and my heart seems to get worse, anytime I closed my eyes I saw him laying their bleeding to death.
''Are you ok mom?'' I nodded leaning against the wall, Justin got up grabbed my wrist and pulled me out of the room.
''Baby you need to go home and eat and sleep.'' I shook my head.
''Pigeon you look exhausted you haven't ate or slept in days.'' My eyes welled up.
''I can't sleep.'' I blinked them away.'' Anytime I try I see him on that stretcher.'' he frowned and hugged me tight.
''I'll stay here with him tonight will you please go home worrying about you and him is giving me chest pains.'' I frowned and nodded bring his head down to mine and kissed him.
''You're able to order from here and collected it down stairs, try make him eat something other than M&M's if he doesn't eat they'll keep in here longer, something light crackers toast, skinny fries. '' He nodded.
''Don't worry I will, you better sleep Pidge.'' I nodded making a promise to.
Mia stead around with Kenzie while I went home to an empty house. I made sure to put the alarm on the house and an alarm on my phone for 5 hours then be awake before the kids get home from school.
''Mom?'' Ethan asked confused I smiled.
''Hey honey how was school?'' I asked he frowned confused.
''Why aren't you with Jasp, is he ok?'' I smiled.
''Yeah he's fine I just came home to sleep your dad is staying with him tonight, hungry?'' he nodded.
''I'm making chops gravy and mash potatoes.'' he nodded sitting at the kitchen table. I heard the front door shutting 6 times after one another then footsteps coming into the hall.
''Hey mom what are you doing here?'' Alicia asked.
''Came home to see my other babies.'' she smiled coming over hugging me, I kissed the side of her head hugging her tight.
''When he is getting out?'' Kale asked roughly. He saw his brother on the stretcher being held back he was still angry no one would let him see him.
''A couple of days, he's doing good moving around they just want to keep an eye on him for the next 48 hours and if everything is looking good he's coming home.'' his lips tugged at the end.
''Mom I can make dinner.'' he said I smiled shaking my head.
''It's ok it's just done call the others will you please?'' he nodded walking out with a confused frown. I put the dinner onto the plates putting them on the table.
''I'm going to go for a shower if you need me call ok, make sure you listen out for the phone.'' they nodded. I went upstairs.
The longest part of my shower was curling into a ball and crying. I didn't hear the door opening but a small gasp.
''Mom please don't cry he's ok.'' Sophie said I couldn't see her through the foggy class. I turned the shower off and wrapped a towel around me.
''I'm ok sweetie.'' I said opening the shower down and walked out giving her a small smile she frowned.
''Clearly you're not mom. Mom you couldn't have known it was going to happen. We know if you did you'd have locked him in the house and went and killed who done it to him, but you didn't know.'' she said I wiped the silent tears away and splashed cold water on my face.
''Dad's down stairs.''
''What why he should be with Jasper!'' I snap she recoiled I sighed.
''Kenzie and the triplets are up their now, dad thought it be good for him to spend time with them.'' She looked at the floor and I walked over to her.
''Honey I'm sorry I didn't mean to snap at you'' I said kissing her temple she nodded leaving the bathroom, I dried myself then went into the closet hearing talking out in the hall.
I quickly dried my hair putting it up in a bun then got dressed and went down stairs seeing Justin in the kitchen talking to the kids.
''He doesn't need us dotting over him every second of the day.'' I nodded opening the fridge taking a bottle of water out and popping headache pills.
''Are you ok mommy?'' Mia asked I smiled sitting down picking her up sitting her on my lap.
''I'm fine sweetheart are you ok?'' she nodded cuddling me I kissed her head running my hand through her hair. I braided her hair and my phone rang. I pulled it out my pocket seeing Jasper's number.
''You ok?'' I asked.
''Yeah I'm fine listen Kale said he wants to stay with me tonight.'' I frowned.
''Oh ok then that's fine.''
''Mom I love you being here but you've other kids as well that miss you being home.'' he said I looked at Ethan who walked into the kitchen and smiled at me, I returned it..
''Yeah honey I know, you need us to bring anything up before visiting hours are up?''
''Nope, Kale just got food there I've everything I need, you can come up but if you don't want to its cool.'' I smiled.
''I'll come up tomorrow ok with breakfast?'' he chuckled.
''Ok mom I love you.'' I smiled.
''I love you too darling tell Kale I love him and be good I'll talk to you later.'' we hung up I sighed putting the phone on the table and looked up at Justin.
''Kale is going to stay with him tonight.'' he frowned but nodded.
''Well then you go in chill out I'm going to order you food and make sure you eat it all ok.'' I sighed into Mia head but nodded swaying her side to side while she played with my fingers
''I'll do that Annabelle'' I said before she could do the dishes.
''I don't mind doing it.'' I kissed Mia's head sitting her on the chair and stood up.
''Go bring your dirty washing down and tell the others, I want to get a wash on.'' she nodded putting the gloves down.
I ran the hot water and filled the sink with dishes and subs and cleaned them drying them off putting them away. I tidied the kitchen and went looking for Justin in the family room looking at a blank TV. I sat on his lap getting his attention.
''Are you ok?'' I asked softly he nodded I rubbed his cheek and tapped his temple.
''Tell me what's going on in there.'' I said and he let out a deep breath.
''I knew I shouldn't have agreed to let him stay out and if I kept it in they probably would still approach him to join their gang.'' I shook my head.
''Justin this is not your fault, baby you're his dad a fucking brilliant one but there is just some things that you can protect them from, they learn through their mistake.'' he nodded slowly looking at my top while I played with his ear lobe.
''It's ok to cry, you've been strong for too long.'' I whispered watching a tear roll down his cheek I hugged him his grip tightened on me. I looked at door seeing Travis and shook my head slightly he frowned towards Justin and walked off. I moved back wiping my husband's cheeks and kissed him softly.
''I hate how you bottle this up and always tell me you're fine.'' he smiled slightly.
''You have enough to worry about.'' I shook my head.
''You're my husband and I love you, no matter what I worry about when it comes to the kids, I still worry about you all the time, so in future you feel down even over the slightest thing talk to me ok, I'm never busy enough for you ok?'' he looked at me and nodded leaning in brushing his lips off mine.

I watched the nurses check over Jasper who was grunting in pain. I rubbed my forehead then the door opened Jaxon stood there his eyes blazing I raised my eyebrow he nodded me out. Bella was to bothered watching Jasper so I left the room.
''3 of VA's recruits were put in hospital with ''the crisps'' star scrapped into their face with a K in the middle.''
''What the fuck, who they hell done that?'' he shrugged.
''I'm just back from bosses place he never told anyone about who attack Jasper; he's going to let you know about it. I asked around no one knows who done it. The only K that ran through my mind was well....'' he looked through the glass I frowned and looked in he was looking at Bella.
''Shit she's going to flip.'' I grumbled he patted my back and we walked into the room.
''What's wrong babe?'' she asked I shook my head and sat down.
''Listen.'' I said to them once the nurses left the room.
''A couple of VA's recruits where put in hospital last night, I don't know if it's serious of not but ''the crisp'' star was on their face with a K in the middle.'' Bella gasped in shock I looked at Jasper who was looking around nervously.
''Do you know who done it?'' I asked.
''What me no way.'' he said not reaching my eye.
''Jasper do you know who it was?'' Bella asked her eyes narrowing he sighed closing his eyes.
''I told him not to, I tried to get my phone he took it off me and left I had no one's number I didn't know what to do then he came back here acting like nothing happened.'' he rambled on.
''Who Jasper?'' she asked firmly he let out a deep breath.
''Kale'' I sighed leaning my head back Bella eyes were flashing black.
''Why didn't you get the nurse to ring us he could have been killed.'' she snapped at him.
''Mom I was afraid I didn't know what to do in that moment.'' she sighed shaking her head.
''Get in and get dressed now'' he obey her slowly going into the bathroom. While she packed myself and Jaxon's sat quietly as if she was going to snap our necks if we talked.
''What are we going to Jay?'' her shoulder slumped I stood up standing behind her wrapped my arms around her petite body and kissed her head.
''Don't worry about it ok baby, when he's home I'm going to give your dad the go ahead and tell everyone what happened, Valley Agers are just a bunch of high school drop outs who think they are better than everyone so don't worry about it, I'm going to take care of it ok?''
''Don't go getting yourself killed on me, I can't take care of eleven of them on my own.'' I chuckled kissing her head.
''Come on time to go home.''
The drive home was silent and when we got into the house the kids were delighted to have their brother home. I watched Kale carefully he looked at Jasper who frowned at him, Bella narrowed her eyes at Kale who frowned and looked down at the ground nervously.
''A word now Kale Bieber now.'' she growled he hung back while the other walked off with Jasper.
''Look mom I know you are pissed but they were bragging about it last night when I went and got us food, they started giving me all this shit that they'd get him and the next time they do they'll kill him, they're just lucky the security guard pulled me off them or I'd have killed them dead. Be mad at me but I when I find out who the others where I'll be making sure they don't leave the hospital only in a black bag, no one will touch him again I'm going to make sure of that'' he said and walked off Bella closed her eyes rubbing her temple I walked over.
''You don't worry about it ok he's just mad I'll have a chat with him later, but please just don't stress out ok.'' she nodded nuzzling her head in my neck.
''Baby?'' I mumbled she hummed looking up at me; I brushed her hair out of her face.
''How does a glass of wine sound.'' she chuckled wrapping her arms around my neck.
''Too early.'' she mumbled kissing me softly I moved my hand from her waist to the side of her face loving her taste and her touch.
''Mom!'' she sighed pulling out looking at me, I smiled kissing her forehead before taking her hand and walked into the living room to where all the kids bare Kale was sitting.

''What?'' I asked.
''He can eat junk food right?'' I nodded.
''Ok then I'm going out get stuff and we're going to the basement for the day all of use including Josh who is pulling up the drive.'' Kenzie stood up I heard the front door opening.
''I'll go get stuff you stay here ok.'' I picked my keys up she looked at me nodding once.
''Hey man how you feeling?'' Josh asked walking in looking at Jasper.
''Sore but good.''
''Glad you home missed seeing you around the house.'' he clapped his shoulder, Jasper chuckled.
''Believe me it's good to be home, not that I didn't mind those nurses dotting over me.'' his lips tugged the guys and Justin laughed I chuckled walking out grabbing my purse.
''Are you going the store?'' Justin asked I nodded.
''Yeah and I'm going to go in drop his prescriptions off, need anything while I am out.'' he shook his head his hands slipping into his pockets.
''What?'' I asked.
''Just go out get stuff and come home.'' I rolled my eyes and walked out hearing him follow.
''Pigeon.'' he said firmly I sighed.
''Justin I'm honestly too tired to go look for those guys I'll be back in a few minutes, just make sure he doesn't move to much or laugh too much, it could open his stitches.'' he nodded I closed the door behind me and got in my car. I dropped his prescription off then went in got about 4 bags full of junk food loads of large bags of Doritos and dips. Even though we weren't there making dinner for the kids, Pattie or Mag would come over and make them food so tonight I'll order out.
''You ok?'' I asked seeing Kale sitting on the porch he looked up and nodded. I left the bags in the car and sat down beside him wrapping my cardigan tight around me.
''I'm not sorry.'' he mumbled I nodded.
''Do you have an idea how much pain your dad and I have been in this past couple of weeks''
''He's my little brother mom of course I know.'' I shook my head.
''Seeing your brother in a situation is nothing comparing to seeing your child like that and not being able to take their pain away from them. I understand your anger Kale I'd love nothing more to go out there and kill those kids but I can't because I'm not going to let use have a life your dad and I lived. We almost lost Jasper it was touch and go for 48 hours, the longest time of our life and I'll be damned if I'll watch another one of my kids end up in a hospital bed or even worse on a slab.'' he frowned at the ground.
''I'm not angry at you for what you done, to be honest you're right to do it but Kale love you've your whole life in front of you, one wrong move and it's all over you know.'' he nodded.
''I don't want you to go after them Kale I mean it, if I hear you went after them you'll be sorry.''
''Mom I can't just sit back and know they are out there.''
''You will sit back and you won't get involved, your dad will take care of it, am I understood Kale you're not to go after anyone in that gang.'' he grumbled under his breath and nodded.
''Right then give me a hand taking everything in.'' he walked over to my car in a mood I rolled my eyes following him taking stuff into the house, Justin sat on the staircase twisting his wedding ring.
''You ok love?'' I asked putting the bags down and walked over; he hummed pulling me over sitting me on his lap
''He's not going to hold back baby.'' I sighed and nodded.
''I can't see one of them like that again Justin, they've no idea how much pain it is for us.'' he kissed my neck I played with the end of his hair.
''I'm going to take care of it before Kale can think of what to do next, I'm heading over to your dad's now.'' I nodded.
''I'm going to order out tonight what do you want?''
''Don't worry about me I'm not hungry I'll be back later ok.'' I kissed him hard rubbing his cheek.
''Be safe ok don't go getting killed on me.'' he pulled my chin back down and kissed me I got off his lap standing in between his legs.
''I'll be back soon.'' I kissed his cheek and nodded he hesitated on leaving but he did with a frown I picked the bags up and went down to the basement.
''Take these first.'' I gave Jasper his pain killers.
''Thanks mom.'' he took them with water.
''No fighting ok be good I'll be upstairs if ya want me call me.'' they nodded, I knocked the lights off and the large screen brightened the room I closed the door after me and headed up stairs and up to the bedrooms getting all the dirty washing and put a wash on clean the down stairs swept and moped the floors opened the windows for fresh air.
''Out you go.'' I put Skye out the back with her bowl of food and water and closed the door.
I got the washing done and dried by the evening I put them in the tumble drier for a few minutes then folded them putting them away into the kid's rooms.
''You ok mom?'' I looked up to see Jason I smiled.
''Yeah sweetheart I'm fine.'' I said he nodded opening the fridge I looked down at my phone.
''Where's dad gone?'' he asked.
''Over to your grandpa's he'll be back in a while, I'm ordering dinner tonight what do you fancy?'' I asked picking the phone up.
''Pizza.'' I nodded ordering 5 large pizzas all different toppings. The evening went on the kids down stairs eating, when the house was sparkling clean, I sat in the living room with a glass of red wine watching the telly. Half hour later I heard Justin's car pulling up the front door opening and closing. The door open making me turning my head, he smiled slightly bending down kissing my head going to the kitchen returning back less than a minute with two bottles of beer.
''Where are they?''
''Downstairs.''
''Will we go join them?'' I nodded drinking the rest of my wine putting the glass in the skin he grabbed out box of pizza put it in the oven for two minutes then we headed down stairs.
''What we watching?'' he asked sitting on a one sitter recliner pulling me down onto his lap.
''The Internship is just started.'' we nodded getting comfy opening the box of pizza eating that when it was down, he pulled the blanket from the back of the chair and pulled the recliner up.
''Lay on Me.'' he said I obey laying on him and he put the blanket over us his arms wrapping around me kissing my head. I looked around at the kids, the girls looked at us with smiles, I chuckled quietly looking back at the movie screen.
''I love you.'' he mumbled into my hair, I lifted my head he looked at me and I kissed him softly.
''I love you too.''
