I was shaking. I didn't want to see Fred this talk was suppose to be simple and easy, I would tell him no then that's it. But here we are all complicated Felicity tied up to a pole and gagged with the boy's sword at her throat. I could see him much better now in the fire light.I had agreed to go with him what choice did I have.
Fred winkle. He sat on the ground by the burning fire my dearest wish at the moment was to push him in. His eyes matched the color of the glowing embers in the fire.
"Octavia." He said looking up with a pathetic smirk on his face, "I thought we agreed you would be coming alone?"
"I was going to! We were all walking home and we got split up! I was gonna come back alone." I explained.
"Oh is that so, no matter." He said standing up, "it's just added more fun to our little deal."
I narrowed my eyes at him. He better not even think about killing Felicity.
"So how about this," he said, "you join our little group here and we won't kill your friend here." He said "or we kill all your friends and you live out lonely life without and family or friends because there dead."
I looked around the small camp set up. There were at least fifteen people here all of them armed.
"If I join your group you won't kill anyone?" I asked quietly.
His smile broadened. "No one they all live."
I thought about for a moment. I can't let them all die not if I had a chance to save them.
"Fine I'll join your group." I sighed.
This was it I couldn't do anything this was the best for my friends and for Selestia.
"Good. Octavian, release the girl." Fred commanded.
The boy with the piercing blue eyes cut Felicity's bonds. Octavian strangely similar to my name. I made a mental note to remember that. He gave her back her bow and arrows and pushed her forward, but before he could act her stabbed him in the shoulder with a dagger she always carried in case of an emergency.
Everyone in the camp moved towards them I took this as an opportunity. I turned around and punched the man behind me in the face ,he had my sword. I grabbed it and stabbed him clean through the stomach.
"No stop what are you doing?" Fred called.
I ran and grabbed Felicity's arm.
"We've got to go there gonna come after us. We have to go get Emmaline and Selestia." I explained.
"Just wait a second." She argued.
Felicity gracefully knotched her last two arrows in her bow and shot them. They both stuck in the same exact spot on Fred winkles forearm. I could hear him scream as we ran away from the hoard that was chasing us.
We had to get back to Gary's and Fabian's.
"Emmaline!" I shouted loudly. I could just see the house through a clearing now.
She burst out the door.
"Emmaline get everyone and run!"
Her eyes widened at the sight. She yelled something into the house and four people were suddenly running in front of us.
I turned around for a second to see someone's arrow stick itself in my right shoulder. I cried out in pain.
"This way!" Yelled Gary.
We all ran in that direction until we reached a extremely hidden cave.
"Go go inside!" Yelled Emmaline making sure everyone was in.
I ran in and waiting for us to be cornered by Fred's soldiers. No one came in.
There was a scream that came from outside the cave, but I never found out what it was.
My shoulder exploded in pain and I could feel myself fall to my knees and collapse on the cold damp floor.
