Chapter 15

"Octavia!"

I woke up to someone screaming my name. I couldn't really remember anything just running Fred's camp and someone screaming.

I groggily opened my eyes. Selestia stood over me a worried expression on her face.

"Octavia, oh thank goodness your all right." She said tackling me in a tight hug.

"Ya I'm okay, your hugging kind of tight." I said.

"Oh sorry. Well at least one person is all right." She said.

"What? Who's hurt? What happened?" I asked now worried.

"Octavia calm down." It was Gary. "Emmaline...got hurt while trying to get everyone inside."

I stood up ignoring the pain.

"Where is she?" I asked showing no sign that I was in any pain.

"Octavia stop you need rest!" Said Selestia.

"No where is she?" I repeated.

"Over there." Pointed Gary.

We where still in the cave. I could see now that the cave was filled with hanging vines and random plants growing everywhere.

I followed where Gary was pointing and ending up looking at a pale limb body with a deep bloody claw mark straight across there stomach.

My throat went dry. I couldn't say anything. I feel to my knees next to Emmaline.

"Octavia." Said Gary slowly walking in.

"Wh-what happened?" I stammered.

"Octavia she's not dead." He said.

I turned around. "What?"

"She's not dead, just in very critical condition." He explained. "And so were you that arrow you took had poison in it."

I nodded and looked back Emmaline. I was happy she was still alive sure, but she just looked so...dead.

"I need to explain some stuff." I said to Gary standing up and started walking to find Felicity, but I ran right into her.

"Felicity I need to talk wi-"

"Darn right you do! What were you doing with those people?" She shouted

I sighed and explained everything about Fred Winkle. While I was explaining Felicity glared at me. Her eyes almost permanently locked in a piercing stare.

"So you want me to believe that some guy you met in the woods in following you around asking to join their rebellion?" Asked Felicity.

"Yes Felicity please, I was never going to join them." I begged.

She glared at me. I knew what she was doing. She was blaming me for Emmaline's injury like she always did. It was my fault I got out group into this mess and I intend to get them out of it.

"Fine." Felicity said after the long silence.

She didn't say anything else just "fine."

She pushed right passed me and sat down next to Emmaline who was still out cold, but had thankfully stopped bleeding.

I walked to the front of the cave. I realized the entrance was covered in vines, so it was hidden from the outside. Made me wonder how Fabian and Garry knew about this place.

I pushed through the vines to find the body of a dead girl right outside of the cave. I took a step back surprised at first, then I stepped forward to get a closer look. She was at Fred's camp I remembered her.

Her throat was torn and strapped across her back,were poison arrows.
