Fredrick yelled in rage. He pulled out his sword and knelt in front of me stabbing the sword into the ground.

"No matter how stubborn you are, you will fight for me because in the end your precious empire will be nothing but ruins and there will be no one left, but me." He threatened.

I glared at him with his sword in the ground. His head was bent low not meeting my gaze. Slowly he pulled his sword of the the ground standing back up. In one quick motion he swung his sword at me and I squinted my eyes shut.

There was and loud clang of metal and then a long silent pause. I was too afraid to open my eyes, but when I did I was shocked.

Octavian had blocked Fred's attack with his small dagger. The two weapons were now crossed inches from my face.

"Fredrick," said Octavian his blue eyes glazed over with panic. "You can't harm her, we need her."

I stood there stunned by their actions.

Fred breathing heavily slowly moved his sword away from Octavian.

"Your right." He said. "Tie her up and take her weapons!" he shouted, "Kill the elves and weak one but bring the other two and save the one with bow for me." He commanded to his men.

"No!" I shouted charging Fredrick sword drawn.

I raised it high and moved down in one quick motion that would of slashed Fredrick straight across the back, if I was a second quicker. He blocked it just in time.

"I'm really not in the mood for games Octavia." He said annoyed.

I felt a strong hand on my shoulder and another rip my sword from my hand.

"Octavian!" Shouted Fredrick.

"Go with Milena and Derek to make sure those elves die in the proper manner."

Octavian smirked. "Of course sir."

I didn't know what he was talking about, but I didn't have time to argue because there was a dirty cloth shoved into my mouth. I reached up to grab it, but I couldn't move my hands. I could see they had done the same to Felicity and Selestia. Selestia looked on the verge of tears and Felicity was being threatened by Fredrick winkle for whatever she had done to his arm.

Oh Octavia what have you got yourself into now? I thought of how my father always used to say that when I came home muddy from the woods. I would always give him that cute "I don't know what you talking about" smile and he would laugh. Now how on earth am I going to explain this mess to him.
