I narrowed my eyes at the dead body. I bent down to pick up the arrows when there was a voice behind me.

"Don't touch the arrows." It said. I recognized it.

I turned around. It was dark out still and I couldn't see his face, but I couldn't forget the blue eyes.

"What do you want?" I snapped at octavian. Ya I know not a very good come back.

"I want to talk. About Fredrick." He said calmly like it was an everyday topic.

"Okay what about him?" I asked.

"He thinks he can rule this kingdom by burning down villages, having access in the castle, and even poisoning the king just so he could take his place. Now I have to say he's gotten pretty far wouldn't you agree?" He explained.

I slowly nodded still shocked at his comment.

"But Octavia what Fredrick doesn't realize is that there's are things happening right out from under him. Take your cave as example. He hasn't found it yet and I don't plan on telling him where it is." He said. I was kind of relieved.

"There are people out there who are worse then him. Don't get to involved." He stated.

I stared at him for a moment processing his little speech, but before I could say anything thing else he ran of into the trees.

I turned back to the cave and ran back inside.

"Fabian!" I shouted.

"What is it?" He replied.

"We need to move. Fred's men are gonna realize where we went sooner or later. The queen can she help with this at all?" I asked desperately trying to think of ideas.

"The queen is not allowed to interfere with any action that does not involve her own kingdom." Stated Gary like he was a walking text book.

I sighed. So no help from the elves.

"There's a village in the just at the north edge of the woods." I commented, "we could hide out there get supplies so if we need to run."

"Octavia this is not a war we are fighting." Said Gary.

"It's not yet," I said "now pack up let's go it's better of we leave at dark even if there is monsters."

"Octavia," said Selestia, "Emmaline can't walk or fight someone will have to carry her."

"I will." Volunteered Gary, "you guys have to protected us from monsters though I'm won't be able to fight."

I gave a small nod at him.

We soon had everything packed up (it wasn't a lot) and walked out the front of our cave.

"Okay we are all heading north. Stay close I'm gonna cover Gary." I explained.

Everyone nodding agreeing on the plan and with that the six of us ran of into the cold woods.
