We ran through the woods most likely looking like the worlds most clumsiest pack of wolves. Everyone was tripping and falling because it was so dark and the couldn't see. The worst part was we were making a lot of noise.

The first monsters that attacked weren't that big of a challenge. In fact it was just a pack of rapid wolves not even monsters.

I swung my sword in every direction I could to protect Gary and Emmaline. If I let either of them get hurt. I fail.

The wolves were all dead pretty quickly. I turned to Selestia. Her beatiful dress was now torn and splattered with blood from the enemies.

"Okay is everyone alright?" I asked praying everyone was.

As soon as I heard four people say "yes" we started off into the woods once again.

I could see the village. The warm humbling glow shined through the woods ever so slightly. We were gonna make it. Then I heard Gary yell.

"Octavia!" He cried. "Help me!" He screamed again.

"Gary!" I shouted. There was no answer.

His screams were followed by Selestia's then Fabian's then Felicity's. They all were crying for help and I couldn't find them anywhere.

I sat down in the dirt with the leaves and sticks and curled into a ball as there screams replayed in my mind.

I didn't here Emmaline. Maybe she...who am I kidding she was hurt pretty bad.

I just sat there the village in front of me. I knew what I was waiting for. Whatever took my friends would take me next.

Moments passed that seemed like years until one voice broke the silence.

"Well, well I must say your little game of hide and go seek was fun, but it looks like I found you." Said Fredrick.

His stupid comments annoyed the heck out of me.

I looked up at him he had a blood stained bandage on his arm were Felicity had shout him with her arrows.

I was surrounded by people in his group. All of them had knifes at my friends throats.

I looked at Octavian who had the limp body of Emmaline. He gave me and expression that reminded me of his warning. "Don't get involved." He had said.

"Octavia it seems we have been in this position before." Smirked Fredrick.

"You know your choices."

"I don't understand why you want me in your group!" I yelled.

"Octavia, we need a fighter a perfect one. One who is fearless. Can get the thing a done easy and your what we are looking for."

I gawked at him. Is he serious? What on earth was he planning.

"Well then Fredrick," I said standing up. "If I'm gonna be the fighter I'm not going to be yours."
