Me and Adi met in sixth grade. We didn't meet because he stole my girl. That was a lie, we told our fans that. I'm not really sure why but we just did. So, Monday, the first day in sixth grade, my first period was Maths...
The bell went off signalling that it was time to go to first period, as I walked into Miss Robinson's classroom it was already full. There was a three seats left, two in the front row next to a blonde girl and a brunette girl and one in the middle row next to a dark haired boy. I decided to sit next to the boy.
"May I sit here?" I asked politely, "Sure!" He replied looking up at me.
The lesson went on and it was quite boring, the boy next to me and I kept making eye contact but we never said anything. The lesson was coming to an end when I finally spoke up. "What's your name?" I asked. "Adi, yours?" He answered, "Nick." "Well nice to meet you Nick." And with that said the bell went off and Adi walked off. The next Maths lesson we got a seating plan and me and Adi didn't speak for the rest of sixth grade. I was quite disappointed, maybe more then I should have been.
I got a girlfriend halfway through sixth grade but she broke up with me because she liked someone else and seventh grade I found out who,
"Nick did you here that Phoebe got a new boyfriend?" My friend Chris asked me as I sat down at our usual lunch table. "No, who?" I answered. "Adi Fishman." Ben spoke before Chris could. I tensed but they didn't notice. Out of all the boys in my year it had to be Adi.
In the corner of my eyes I saw Adi and Phoebe smiling and acting like a loving couple, I got a weird feeling in my stomach and I started getting it when I saw Adi and Phoebe together. By the end of Seventh grade I came to a conclusion, I have a crush on Adi.
Adi and Kelly broke up the first week into grade Eight and I felt so relieved. I was the oldest grade in middle school which meant every Friday after school my grade would go to the mall that was down the road from the school...
Friday after school, I was walking with Chris and Ben to the mall but they both stopped and turned to face me, "Look Nick, you're a really nice guy but these past couple of weeks you've been so distant." Ben started but paused, "What are you saying?" I asked. "We can't be friends anymore. We are sorry but you're just acting different and not in a good way." Chris finished off and walked away with Ben. I walked slowly to the mall by myself. I felt someone appear beside me. "Hey Nick! What are you doing here all by yourself?" Adi asked. I could feel my cheeks heating up. I didn't even know if Adi remembered sitting next to me in sixth grade let alone remember my name. "W...well you um... you see my... my friends don't want to be my friends with me anymore." I stuttered looking down. My face was bright red by now and I was extremely embarrassed that I told my crush that my ex best friends don't like me anymore. Adi put his finger under my chin which made me look up to him, "Oh! Well they probably weren't good friends then, how about you come join me and my friends?" He suggested signalling towards a couple of guys, one I recognized to be Jojo (A guy in my English and Physics). "Really! Thanks, I would love to." I replied smiling widely at Adi.
Since that day me and Adi have been best friends. We even started a YouTube channel together 4-5 years later (I think?), called Whatever time. I also knew me and Adi were always going to be best friends and only friends.
