Chapter 15 - Why are you doing this Nick

A/N: So I researched Davids age and he's Tals age, 21 but in this story he's Adi's age, 18

I took Jojo's advice, all weekend I ignored Adi's calls and messages. I knew it was rude and I could have replied to some but I just couldn't, some part of me was scared of admitting to Adi I like him and end up getting hurt. I knew Adi wouldn't hurt me on purpose but only a couple of days ago he was straight.

It was Monday lunch; I was sat next to David with Jojo opposite us. David had no-idea about anything that happened the previous days while Jojo knew everything. Jojo's name was heard; I looked up and saw Cenna rushing towards his boyfriend and Adi trailing nervously behind, Cenna obviously had no-idea what happened either. Cenna took the seat next to Jojo kissing him quickly while Adi looked at me silently asking for permission to join. I didn't respond I just rested my head on David's shoulder. I heard Adi sigh and saw him walk off shaking his head then putting on a fake smile as he sat down with Kelly. Cenna looked confused while Jojo gave me a knowing look. I nervously ate my food noticing David starring at me with a confused expression on his face. I kissed him reassuringly and the bell went signalling it was time for class. The rest of the week I ignored Adi, it was hard to do, considering how he looked so hurt and all I wanted to do is run up to him and tell him I'm sorry, however I had to be strong and do what Jojo told me. I was just hoping this whole thing will eventually blow over.

Friday came around quicker than I imagined. I was sat in English Jojo next to me and Adi behind me. Jojo looked at me then behind. Suddenly I felt something hit me. I looked towards Jojo and he was signalling towards a piece of paper, I picked it up and mentally read it,

'Adi looks sad :( ' I slowly looked at Adi out the corner of my eyes, he did look sad. I picked up my pen and started writing a response,

'So what do you want me to do about it? :/'

'Talk to him'

'You told me not too'

'Well now I'm telling you too talk to him' I turned around and saw Adi smile,

"Hey um, do you have a pen?" I mentally face palmed as Adi frowned and Jojo physically face palmed.

"Here you go!" He said and blushed as are fingers brushed against each others. I quickly thanked him and I started listening to the teacher until the bell finally went and I rushed towards the lunch hall.

----Lunch----

"I think you should talk to him!" Jojo said while glancing at Adi who was sat with Kelly, like he has all week.

"I did." I replied which caused Jojo to glare at me,

"You know what I mean." He mumbled as David and Cenna took a seat at the table, neither knew what happened yet. Cenna sighed glancing over at Adi,

"So he's still not sitting with us?" Cenna asked looking down. I felt bad for him; he and Adi were best friends.

"I guess not." I responded looking away in guilt.

"Do any of you know why?" David asked in confusion as he held my hand under the table. Jojo and I shook our heads in sync,

"No we don't." Jojo answered. We spent the rest of lunch and when the bell went Cenna ran after Adi.

----After School----

I was walking out of school towards my car when I heard an all too familiar voice shout my name. I kept walking but soon I felt a figure next to me. I slowly looked to the side seeing a frowning Adi,

"Why are you doing this Nick?" He asked glaring at me...
