Chapter 5 - When two friends fight

It's been a week since Adi had his date. So far he's been on three dates with this girl. I've been avoiding Adi, every time he calls or messages me I don't answer or reply and when he asks why I always make up an excuse, when we hang out with Jojo and Cenna together I usually only talk to Jojo or Cenna, every time I do this I notice Adi having a pained look on his face which always makes me feel bad but I need to stay away from him so my feelings will go away. It was Wednesday, the only day when me and the rest of FreeTime where all free which meant today we had to do another video. I was happy that we wouldn't be doing truth or dare again since we did it last week but I was nervous about what Tal would make us do this time and worse of all today meant being with Adi.

I arrived at David's house and went straight to his room seeing everyone here but Adi and Tal. I also noticed that Cenna and Jojo were looking cosy on the sofa. I went and sat next to Jojo and got my phone out looking at my messages, I had one from my mum,

Hey love, me and your father have to do an extra week on our trip, is that okay?

|To Mum|

Yeah that's fine. The house is quiet without you two here!

I'm sorry dear, we'll be back soon

I thought you would have had Adi and your other mates round?

|To Mum|

They've been round a couple of times but not a lot; I've got to go I'm at David's house love you

Alright, love you two.

David's door opened revealing Tal and Adi. "Hey guys!" Tal said happily, "Sorry we're late we had to go shopping to get our equipment for today." Adi then held up a large wrap of bubble wrap and signalled his head towards the other 3 wraps. "What are we doing?" Michael asked. "100 layers of bubble wrap challenge." Tal replied. So we started filming. Anthony and David were wrapping the bubble wrap around Tal, Cenna was recording today, Adi and Jojo were sat next to each other on the sofa watching and Michael and I were stood watching and occasionally helping. Nick and Jojo were whispering to each other about something but stopped when they saw Cenna pointing the camera at them. I decided I was going to ask Jojo about it later. Anthony started throwing things at Tal so we put a helmet on his head and Adi put some sunglasses on him which made Tal look really stupid. We where nearly finished wrapping the last wrap of bubble wrap when I noticed Adi looking at me, I looked back at him for a split second then I carried on wrapping Tal and Adi went to the sofa to see what David and Jojo were looking at on Jojo's phone. Tal faced the camera and did the introduction to the video when David went and kicked him and he fell onto the sofa. It took Adi, Michael and I to stand him up again. We got a bat and started hitting him and that's basically all we did.

I helped David, Adi and Tal tidy up after theothers. I was about to leave when someone pulled me back, Adi. "Whatthe hell bro?" I asked as he pulled me back into David's room locking thedoors. "Ohso we are 'bro's' now are we because from what I remember bro's don't ignoreeach other and not answer they're calls so no we aren't bro's Nick. Not untilyou tell me why you have been acting strange for the past week." Adi yelled making me frown, "Wellmaybe I don't want to be around you 24/7, maybe I want space, maybe I'm goingthrough something that I need to get over before I talk to you." I shoutedback. "Then tell me you want space instead of leaving me in the dark like youhave been doing. You could have told me you're going through something but Iguess you have Jojo to tell everything to, I thought we were best friend."Were! He said were, does that mean we weren't friends. I was too angry to thinkabout it though, "Oh so you're jealous of Jojo now. Don't bring him into this,he is my best friend as well as you and Cenna, I can tell him what I want.Anyway I don't have to tell you every single detail about my life, like youdidn't have to tell me every detail about that dumb girlfriend of yours." Ididn't care about how much I liked him anymore, I was mad. "First, she is not my freaking girlfriend,and you asked about her. Wait." He paused and then chuckled, "You're jealous."He laughed even more. I froze for a second, did he just figure out that I likedhim. "Jealous! Ha! Of what?" I shouted. "That I can get girls not like you. You can't even get a girlfriend." Hestarted laughing again. I was angry, I didn't think I punch him in the jaw andAdi stumbled back, "I can get plenty of girls; I'm just not a slut like you whogets every girl he makes eye contact with." I regretted saying that as soon asthe word slut came out my mouth. Before I could apologise Adi threw himself atme and started punching me, "You're gonna wish you were never born b*tch." Hewhispered. Suddenly the door opened and David and Tal walked in, "What thehell!" They said in unison running towards us getting Adi of from on top of me.His jaw was bruising and my nose was bleeding. "I'll get you a tissue Nick."David said walking out of the room, "Get some ice for Adi's jaw too." Talshouted, "What the hell just happened?" Neither of us replied for asecond. "Nick'swhat happened." Adi angrily said taking the ice pack off David. "I'm what happened! You dragged me in here and forced me to talk, I wasperfectly happy ignoring you. You assumed that I was jealous but I'm not, nowgoodbye to you all because I quit freetime Tal, I'm not doing whatever time andI'm not being friends with HIM" I replied roughly grabbing the tissue off Davidand walking out and getting into my car.
