Today, it was Saturday. My favourite day of the week. I could go to my secret hideout and hangout with my friends for hours... Or, until Marilla tells me to.

Me and Gilbert have been dating since Tuesday and I'll like to say that he makes me happier than anybody else and I think I make him happy as well.

I quickly went downstairs and helped Marilla with breakfast.

I heard a cough.

"Hey."

"Cole. Are you serious?"

"I want you to tell me what happened. "

"You were eavesdropping, didn't you see the whole thing?"

"I was about a minute late. Miss Stacy wouldn't let us come."

"But, she let Gilbert?"

"Well, here's the thing. Our teacher is really smart."

" I know."

"So, I asked her for a favor."

"Oh my God. Cole, don't tell me you set the whole thing up."

"Of course not."

"Cole..."

"What? You said that I shouldn't said that, and now you want me to? Make up your mind... Oh, by the way. I'm only here for the food. Gilbert said that he would be here at nine. So..." He looked at the clock. "In about five minutes. If I were you, I would eat quickly."

"Cole, I swear."

~KNOCK. KNOCK. ~

I glared at Cole but all he did was raise his arms up and say.

"Don't blame me. I'm not the one who enjoys to talk this much that they put food as a second priority. No offense."

I just threw a napkin at him.

"You know I'm joking." He said with a small laugh which I joined.

"I know and that's why I love you."

"And you're lucky because I love you too."

~KNOCK. KNOCK~

THE DOOR OH MY GOD.

HE MUST BE FREEZING... YET, I'M STILL NOT OPENING THE DOOR.

..... Right.

I ran and opened the door to reveal Gilbert.

"Hey Anne-girl." He said and gave me a quick hug and a warm smile which I returned.

"Hey Gil-boy." He just smiled wider.

"Hey Cole." He said.

"Hey Gil."

He said with his mouth full of food.

"Close your mouth, Cole. That's disgusting." I said and he just opened his mouth wider.

There was another knock on the door. So, I went and answered it.
