One year

HAZEL'S POV-

I was playing with my little angel.He was being an extremely good baby today.Aaaww.

I played with his little belly and blew marshmallows on it as he pulled my hair.I can't believe this angel is all mine.My baby.My little boy.I am his Ma and he's my little prince.

"You know i never knew I'll love you so much when i knew you were coming but then you wailed for the first time and it's like my heart exploded..with happiness,with fear..emotions that no one would ever make me feel.Because you my boy are the reason for your mother to survive
You make me smile,laugh and act matured. Your daddy thinks I'm a careless idiot.I wonder if he will ever see me for who i am now rather than what i was before but now all i want is to be with you and him.I want us to become a real family baby.I just don't know how to do it.With all his new secrets out of the box;mafia.Oh my god."

I just snuggled Coco closer to me.I still can't digest the fact that my husband is a mafia lord.It has been an year since Ashton revealed all that shit.We are officially not on proper talking terms.A year of awkwardness and misunderstandings.No physical or even mental contact of any kind.

After that day his grandfather came to meet us and then there was this big commotion.Marcos and Dante;Ashton's granpa and Lily's father.They can't see eye to eye.It was so painful for Lily to see Ash already hate Marcos and then her father also wanted him out.

There was that one time i felt the pressure of how Ash actually felt.His mother stood there crying.His father and grandfather were shouting at each other. Marcos was cursing the mafia links while Dante was shouting at him for being a weak father and husband.

It was too much.It is too much.Ash started acting weird.He completely shut me off.After his parents left his grandfather told me that Gage was destined to take over the mafia thing and that no one could stop that. Not even he himself even though hd never wanted any of his offsprings to ever enter that damned business.

Dante Lombardi was an old soul who had too much of hurt.His only salvation of his wife Flora who was in Sicily. Apparently so;she was in love with him so much that she took a bullet for him once.

Such love.I sighed.

My now 1 year old baby boy giggled as i rubbed his tummy lightly.

"Maa Maa."

He said and i almost turned into a puddle. It's  been 4 or 5 months since he has started speaking.His first word was bye.Lol.

Then his smile turned into a frown. A cute little pout.

I turned around to see Ash coming in our room.Obviously.He never spends time with us anymore. Not even with Gage.He just carries him or plays with him sometimes but that is it.Gage obviously craves his attention. He is  only 1 for godsakes and there's already so much distance.

His birthday is also coming in a week.

I had dressed him up in a jacket and pink pyjamas.Sighs.That is what happens when your mother in law wants a granddaughter so she brings all pink clothes for your kid.Ofcourse i can't dress him up in a pink bow but well pink pyjamas are well..

Anyways.It was so cold so i had placed a beanie on his head that matched mine.:)
