Ashton's Pov-

I was shit worried.The tension and guilt was eating me up.I had brought my wife and son in the lion's den by myself.What kind of a husband and father am I?

I had to tell Hazel about the official talk I had with Papi last night but the coward inside me just wont budge.She looks so gorgeous sleeping peacefully with our handsome little guy in her arms who was also sleeping.

She stirred in her sleep.It was barely 5am and i could hardly blink an eye lid despite being seriously tired.Now a days even Gage slept through out the night.Almost.Well he is 1 now..so.

I was so lost in my thoughts that i did'nt even notice my wife was now awake.

"Why are you awake at such an ungodly hour?"
She yawned and flopped up on my lap.

"You look so tired babe.What are you thinking about?"

She nuzzled her nose in my chest and practically coocooned me.

"I am thinking about you."

I know i was..just in a different context so it was not a lie.I was not allowed to reveal anything to Hazel until tonight.

"I wonder if it is true."

She gave me her naughty smile and mischievously opened  the buttons of my shirt smirking at me.

"I believe my husband needs some hard loving.Doesnt he?"

She smiled and i wanted to bury my head in some pit.I feel damn guilty.

I shook my head.I need not think about it now.

I held her by the nape of her neck and kissed her.Her lips tasted sweet and innocent.Just like a cinnamon roll.

My hand played with the hem of her top as i removed it from her and opened her bra just at the same time.

"You dont waste your time.Do you?"
She giggled but gave me a stern look.

"Gage is sleeping right beside us so we have to be quiet.I dont want to traumatise my baby with our antics."

I groaned.

"Babe he is too little to even understand what must be happening around him.I love it when you shout my name when we do it but yeah i will try to be careful because a cranky little boy is the last thing i want right now."

She rolled her eyes.

"Men really do think with their dicks but i am seriously horny now so less talking husband."

"Then let me do the favour."

I grinned and crashed my lips on hers in a fierce kiss.

I had given my bodyguards strict instructions about Gage's and Hazel's security.That is my top priority.Anything can happen tonight and i bet my mafia ass that i am not taking any risks with my wife and kid.

"Hey bro."

Declan arrived last night with Ethan.I wonder how Hazel would react when she finds out even her brother was involved.He has been wrking along with me since both of us went for law together and Ethan is my bestfriend and the head of my security system.

"I am going to tell her tonight.Hazel has always been really stubborn but my sister is the strongest person i know.I just hope she can forgive me for hiding this from her.Imagine the surprise when you will break the involvement of both our families in your marriage."

I groaned.This is the last thing i need right now.But the truth has to come out.

'You got this bro.Hazel has every right to know the truth.She has been involved since she was born.ALL anyone of us are trying to do is to protect her.Uncle Dylan and aunt Ava are also coming tonight with Jason and Jeremy.I beleive both Hazel and Zoe are going to go completely blank after the truth is out.Those two are the only Vanderbilts who have no clue about the family ties."
