Is Cody going to kill me?

Is he?

Is he not?

OK..let's count till 100 before I go in the lion's den.

I closed my eyes and started saying the numbers.

"One,two, three....."

"Uhh..miss you need to leave the entrance. This is a bakery where people come to buy stuff not to memorise numbers."

A staff member looked at me awkwardly as he left me standing there baffled.

People were looking at me.

OK,it wasn't a good idea.

Not at all.

Meanwhile, Ashton was just standing with CODY who was giving me a look that could kill.

Uh.Oh.

"Come on,In Missy."

Cody said as he pulled me inside.

"One more time Haze.One more time if I have to eat any bakery stuff I will not let you buy your wedding cake.You can cut some pizza for all I care."

He blabbered.

I wanted to go and hide under the table and avoid his devious looks.

I looked at Ashton for help.

He looked least interested as he checked his phone.

The rude fiancé.

He could have at least defended me.I am his pregnant fianceé.

"I am sorry Cody.You had to wait but on the bright side you at least tasted all the cakes so that means less time in deciding what cake will finally be there in our wedding."

Ashton finally said.

What!

No!I want to decide that.

"Yeah dude.Look at her face.Just look at her.It looks like someone snatched her damn kidney or something."

Cody said as he shook his head.

He knows me SO well.

"Oh,yeah I get it.Obviously; I should have known.You want to decide on the flavour right wife?"

Ashton gave me a sarcastic look.

I only grinned.

"Whatever. Let's get this over before the day is over because I'm not taking another day off.We also have to see the venue and meet the wedding planners AND you have to go to Elise's boutique to decide on your dress.Your best friend,sister,mother,sister-in-law and aunt will join you there.You can go wedding shopping with them as I'm least interested in watching women deciding on lingerie."

He said all this in one single breathe.

"Wow Ashton.Looks like Haze is already affecting you.You didn't look like a person who spoke much to me.Now look at you.You are like a singing canary."

Cody grinned.

Ashton gave him a flat look.

"Aren't you supposed to be the uncle? You are married to her aunt yet you behave like you are her partner in crime."

"You don't even know what you're saying.Is he?"

Cody looked at me.
