Ashton's pov-

Here I was standing at the altar waiting for my *cough cough* bride to come.

Still can't believe I'm marrying that clutch spoilt woman.

I just can't wrap my head around the fact that how come of all the woman who could have been accidentally knocked up from my kid; it was Hazel who ended up pregnant.

I mean if something like this would have happened in highschool I would have had a coronary.

Hazel Rose Vanderbilt never even talked to me in school.She just used to give me looks that  said"Oh this boy,just look at this looser."

She was the queen bee of our school while I was the loner who was stuck in the library surrounded by books.

Kids were superficial. It was only Gemma who looked beyond those looks teenagers are crazy about.

She saw beyond that scar that has scarred me for life.

I didn't love Gemma.No,I never did but she was special in a diffrent kind off way.

I wonder if she is fine right now.Her life has been difficult..

I never wanted to get married but I always wanted kids.I wanted to adopt but the orphanage people denied it since I live alone and my marital status was single;obviously.

So,I went for the surrogacy thing and here I'm stuck in a wedding suit waiting for the person who was the last person I  ever imagined to be getting married.

Not that I ever wanted to.

My sister Caroline was chirping like a damn cuckoo everywhere with her two year old son in her arms while her husband Ryan followed her around because he was scared that she might drop their kid in her excitement.

I believe he is doing a good job because that is something Caroline can do.

"I can't believe you're marrying her dude.I mean does she even know that Declan knows about why you are marrying her."

My best man and best friend Ethan whispered.

"She doesn't and I hope it stays that way.Dec doesn't want her to find out about this right now.Maybe after some time."

Declan was one of my really close friends. He always has been.We didn't used to hang around like typical friends in school but we were classmates and we used to talk.

Ethan has always been a friend and him and Dec were good childhood friends;that how I met him in law school again.

Dec and I are lawyers while Ethan owns a security business firm.He dropped out of law school.Declan amd I are close friends too.He was furious when he found out about Hazel's pregnancy but calmed down when he found out which way it happened.

So it wasn't much of a surprise for him when we announced our engagement on her birthday though he didn't want her to find that he knew for reason he only knows.

"Here comes the she-devil."

I whispered as I saw Hazel making her way towards me.Dylan was holding his daughter who I don't want to admit it but looks really good which is absurd because I've always known she is very pretty and attractive but I don't like her attitude. She is superficial.

"Take care of my baby girl Ashton.You won't like the result if even a drop of tear comes out of her eyes.I love all my children equally but she is mine and Ava's youngest kid and has always been the baby of the family.My whole family will be running after you with pitch and forks.You already knocked her up."
