Firdaus's pov
Today is the second day of the three days event wedding and I can't believe tommorow is the day I'm leaving home tomorrow
Ammi has been making me miss home even when i still haven't left , I've been getting endless sermons from both ammi and abbu .
Ahmad has been teasing me about being a soon to be wife and I don't really worry myself now because I have something to tease him about too .
There's been something fishy going on between him and halima lately and I hope its just what i think it is , then we'll see who has the mouth to tease againToday is the dinner because Mubarak thinks it'll be better he takes me away after the wedding
We're travelling !
I'm going to be on a honeymoon with someone that takes work as his number one priority and finds it hard to even make a conversation with meBut what can i say ? He at least had the time to book tickets for our honeymoon and to what place , I do not know
He said it was a surpriseSurprise ? He barely even knows me and to talk of surprising me to a country he thinks I'll love is just a wrong term to use
But let's see what he's got
Speaking of what he's got , I'm in his place right now . The event center for the dinner is close by , so everything's taking place here . My make up especially , which right now is plastered on my face with a pair of shiny earing attached to my ear and a necklace draped on my neck
I look myself on the mirror and I can't help but think masha Allah Firdaus
"Yawwa diyata"
I hear a voice saying while opening the door and I already know who it is from how bubbly the person soundsIt's my mother in law ...well soon to be
She treats me with so much love
She's is one of the nicest person I've ever met my enter life
She's just so nice and cheerful , there's always this smile fixated on her face
I can see where the beauty in this family is coming from . She's a very beautiful woman masha AllahI'm glad to have her as my mother in-law
"Umma "
I say to her and she just smiles back
Always smiling"Dont think you'll bribe me this time , you're still not going anywhere until its time "
Just when i thought I could convince her to go out
I was in her room and she didn't allow anyone in because she thinks I'm a bride and I need my rest before the event
She pampers me so much alreadyYesterday she made me eat a full mould of tuwo complaining on how kids of now a days are weak because of "ciye ciye" ( junk food)
Let's just say ...she's ammi the second
No wonder they act like they've known each other for yearsBut I escaped it and ate just half saying I'll be too full and It could make me nauseous and also , stating all the possible things that could happen when one is nauseous
She gave me the most horrified look when i told her the outcome and it just made me laugh it out again
"Oh..so you're even laughing koh? "
She says and starts to walk to the door"No umma , its not like that "
I say..trying to figure out what to say then end up keeping quietShe smiles when i do this and I have no idea what she's thinking
"Dont worry , I know its Mubarak . You don't have to tell me , I'm letting you out now ...he's Here to see you "
She gives me a side hug and gives me her hand to walk me to him
