I am so unmotivated to succeed
Because all school does is force feed
The need to get into a top university
So that one bad grade means that there's no Stanford for me
That one bad grade means that my world is coming to an end
Because I refused to tend
to the needs society set aside for me
So you can believe me when I say I'm stressed beyond belief
You can believe me that I'll find no relief
Until my future is set for success
Which is why I should be obsessed
with getting the best grades, and test scores
I should be obsessed with wanting more
Because school teaches me that life is a competition
And that every college app. and job interview is your audition
You want to be the lead thespian in this play
So you act as if you want to be here and that all is okay
Because that is the only way
To make all that money society says you need to thrive on
Because money is there for you when your happiness is gone
And you're gonna earn all that money
As long as you get that big fat degree
That you earned from attending that top university
