Married To The Wrong Man

Explain please

The next morning I woke up but for some odd reason checked my phone first and there was 1 missed call. As I was brushing my teeth I decided to call back. It rang a few times before someone answered catching me off guard.

"Hello?" A females voice filled my ears
"Oh um hello I'm sorry but I was expecting someone else to answer"
"You were expecting my husband to answer?" She said making me laugh
"Husband?"
"Yes haha Michael is my husband"

I then heard some muffled talking in the background and tried my best to understand.

"What are you.......what?.........what?!"

I heard some movements and fighting when I heard what I was looking for Michaels voice.

"Hello?"
"Um hello married man"

.......

I could tell she was not happy with me at all. She sounded sad yet pissed off. I pulled myself out of bed and walked to the bathroom locking myself in.

"Mina I'm not married I've been divorced for 6 months"
"Mhm"
"I wouldn't have taken you out if I was married Mina I promise...please believe me"
"I have to go"
"Mina please I really like you"

I didn't hear anything for a little while until she hung up. I just met the girl and I'm already fucking up. I used my time to brush my teeth and came out.

" Lisa you have to go"
"No my shit is here I live here"
"NO YOU DON'T GET THE FUCK OUT"
"Why are you so mean to me!!"
"I'm not mean I just want you gone Lisa please"
"Michael....you used to hold me and tell me you love me and one day that just changed...what happened..."

I felt my eyes tearing up  and tried to my best to hide it.

"Lisa please go"
"No tell me why you just ended this marriage!"

I was on my way to wake Mr.jackson for breakfast when I heard screaming. Lots of screaming so I just softly knocked and was greeted my a angry Lisa. Why was she here ? This early?. She rudely pushed past me and Michael didn't like it very much.

"Oh fuck You! Get the hell out of here! Are you okay Marisa?"
"Yes sir" I said straightening my uniform out
"What's for breakfast?"
"Your usual smoothie sir"
"Thank you Marisa you look beautiful today by the way"

As I headed downstairs back to the kitchen I ran into a hyper bubbles looking for his owner.

"He's upstairs you little cutie"

I watched him walk upstairs and made sure all the dishes were clean. About thirty minutes later I was greeted by a soaking wet Michael on the phone.

"No mina please just listen I can explain..just let me explain everything to you..no you don't have to come here I'll come to you"
"Can you be normal please"
"I know how to be normal"
"No you don't but um okay I guess you can come here but...my parents..you're gonna meet them"
"Okay that's one step closer"

I hung up and looked at my maid realizing that I was in nothing but a towel.

"I pay the bills"

I walked away and heard laughing behind me. I put on some black slacks with a white tee. I got in my Rolls-Royce and headed to her home.

I finished putting my hair up when my mother walked in. I felt her eyes on me so I turned around and saw the amusement in her face. Before I could say anything she beat me to it.

"For someone who doesn't care you look mighty fine"
"Mom is it bad that I wanna look nice?"
"Look nice for Michael no"
I rolled my eyes in defeat. We then heard a knock on the door.

My father opened the door for Michael and greeted him with a handshake. I came downstairs and couldn't help but smile no matter how confused yet pissed I was. He saw me and smile as he made his way to me to hug me. He shook my mother's hand and kissed the top being the gentleman he is.

"Michael this is my father Darius and my mother Sophia"
"Nice to meet you both" he said smiling
"We're gonna go to the backyard no one will know you're here so let's go"

We were heading to the backyard and I don't know why but he held my hand. I can't lie I kind of missed his warmth. We sat and I looked at him.

"I know that look...I'm sorry I really am but I promise all of this is explainable"
"Then explain" I said taking a seat
"Me and Lisa have been divorced for 6 almost 7 months now"
"Then why was she there?"
"She still has some stuff like clothes and stuff but she never takes it she uses it as an excuse to come back and bug me. Me and Lisa had a very good but then toxic marriage. She would accuse me of cheating and I'm not gonna lie I did once and then that ruined a lot but then something else happened that I don't wanna go on about. Last night a little bit after you left I went to bed after I tried to call you and she showed up. She saw all the date stuff still up and started crying so I held her you know...she ended up falling asleep and so I went to sleep. Nothing else happened Mina I promise"

he said taking both of my hands into his softly rubbing the top with his thumbs. I looked into to eyes and couldn't help but understand how sorry he was.

"It's okay..I just..Ive been hurt before"
"I would never hurt you Mina"
"Haven't we all heard that before" I said looking away from his hypnotizing eyes.

I felt his finger under my chin and slowly looked up into his eyes.

"I promise I will never hurt you Mina"

He then started to get closer to my face giving me butterflies.
