Anyway, let's get on with this.

So this is something I see around a lot which really pisses me off.

It's when people say,

"This fandom has been ruined by people changing the sexualities of the characters"

Or

"This ship sucks because I don't head cannon this character's sexuality to correspond with it"

So, personally I don't mind when characters sexualities get changed by the fandom. And maybe I'm biased because I have done this, but it's my honest opinion.

Like, I head cannon Kaito to be straight, but if you head cannon him as...  Aliquasexual, I don't rlly care. You do you.

So I don't really think it's fair to say the fandom is ruined because of this, for a few reasons.

1) There's plenty of stuff that isn't 100%SHSLGay™

2) if it bothers you so much, why not just ignore it??

3) there are people who feel the same way you do, so talk to them instead of bothering the WHOLE fandom.

4) honestly, who gives a fuck? It's 2018.

Also, it's not just with the, "WHY ARE YOU TURNING THESE HOT STRAIGHT GUYS GAY???"

it's also with the, "WHY ARE YOU TURNING MY GAY BEST BOI STRAIGHT??"

That equally pisses me off.

So, I do head cannon Kokichi as gay. But if you try to argue with me that Miu x Kokichi is your otp, I'm not gonna use "but Kokichi is gay" As an argument. (Tbh I probably wouldn't even argue about that because I don't like to, even though I dislike that ship)

I do have a reacting to ships book where I do give some ships bad scores. But my reasoning for not shipping them is never "because so and so is straight" Or "because so and so is gay"

So yeah, it really makes me mad when people hate on ships or fandoms for the soul purpose of "because you're changing their sexuality"
