I am confusion

sooooooooo this morning I woke up and thought to myself "Shit, I forgot to do my slides on the group project..." 

well, I didn't forget. I just didn't do it...

Eh whatever, I did it ten minutes before I had to start walking to school.

So when it got to the last period of the day, (Aka the class where we had to give the presentation) and our group went first. I didn't think my slides were as good as I could've made them, andimayormaynothavebullshitedsomestuffimeannotreallybutikindadid, BUT AT THE END OF THE PROJECT:

Teacher: Alexander, John, I thought you could've maybe spent a little more time on the project and really gather some useful information. Micheal, Ame, I thought you two did really well, I could tell you put a lot of time and effort into your slides. I appreciate that.
