A/N: Hey everyone!!! This is the last chapter of the story before the epilogue!! I'd just like to thank all of you lovely people for reading my story! I hope it has been worth the read. Now I have already written the epiilogue but I still need to finish it. I'm going to try and write it by the end of the night but I'm not well and have headaches and stuff so it may not happen. But none the less I hope you enjoy this chapter! Please read, comment, vote and enjoy.
***IMPORTANT EVERYONE PLEASE READ: if you have already read the book then it means you've liked it enough to do so, thanks! But I would really appreciate no spoilers as it just ruins it. I will be very upset if I see any. I hope y'all understand. ANYWAY, pushing that aside! Hope you enjoy! xx

"Hey Kye," I greeted my younger brother, hugging him with one arm while my other hand held Max's.
We had just finished cleaning up his house from the party and all of our group had left. I had remembered Charlie asked me to be home so that she could properly introduce us to Adam, but Max wanted to come.
So that's how we both ended up at home, a few minutes before midday.
"Hey guys," Kye smiled, then eyes off our intertwined hands. "Are you guys a thing?"
I nodded, smiling now that it had finally sunk in.
"Thank freaking God!" Kye exclaimed then walked with us to the kitchen. "Oh, by the way. Charlie and Adam will be here in like, an hour. So I'll be back then."
I had no idea where he was going but he retraced his steps to the front door and left without saying anything more.
"Welll..." I trailed, laughing. "What do you want to do?"
"How about piano?" He asked, and because it was his birthday, we went outside to my shed.
As we walked, I couldn't help but think how normal everything with Max felt. It was strange, because I had never felt more comfortable around anyone else, but our relationship had hardly changed. We still played around and insulted each other but now there was kissing and other stuff involved as well.
I really couldn't complain. It was perfect.
Instead of sitting on the couch, Max sat beside me on the bench, smiling. He hadn't stopped smiling since he woke up, actually.
I started off by playing him Happy Birthday.
"Oh come on," Max laughed, nudging my side with his. "Play me something real."
"Something real?" I laughed, not knowing exactly what that meant.
"Yeah! A song you love," he then added; "that's not by Good Charlotte."
"Oh come on you love Good Charlotte!" I exclaimed, raising an eyebrow suspiciously. I knew Good Charlotte was one of his favourite bands.
"I do but you know what I mean." Max put his hands to the keys and played the start of All Of The Stars by Ed Sheeran.
"You didn't tell me you could play," I pouted, unsure of why he had kept this from me.
"I can't. But I asked Hazel to teach me this so I could play it to you. This is as far as I've got," he stopped playing just before the lyrics would have come in, so I picked it up for him. Luckily I had learnt that song.
"It's just another night," Max started singing, his voice melting with the piano. "And I'm staring at the moon. I saw a shooting star and thought of you."
"I sang a lullaby by the waterside and knew," I continued with him, blushing for some unknown reason. "If you were here I'd sing to you."
After the song Max pinched my nose in the playful way he always did. "You are so talented."
