Chapter 28

Constance's POV

Somehow, we managed to keep out of trouble for that one month. Now? I and the girls are sitting inside watching the first snowfall of the year.

"This is so awesome and beautiful!" Sora gasps while watching the snow. Ever since the four of us were kids we LOVED playing in the snow and often got colds because of it. Did we give a shit? No. Since the four of us had been inside for FIVE years we were really excited to see the snow again.

Sora was actually almost crying. By now we were all looking at her like 'dafuq'. She looks away and sniffles.

"T-there's just something in my eye that's a-all," she says trying to make it look like she wasn't crying.

"Ok," Aaliyah says suspiciously eyeing her and not believing her for a second. At that moment the boys walk in and watch the four of us huddle around the one window while watching the snow as we point out some of the patterns we saw.

"Ooh look at this one!!" I say pointing out an asymmetrical snowflake.

"You guys make it seem like you've never seen snow before," Zac says. Sora turns around looks Zac in the eye with a duh face.

"What do you expect we were locked up inside for five years!" She exclaims. Zac makes an oh face.

"Right forgot about that," he mumbles.

"Well, no shit Sherlock!" Aaliyah screams.

"Let's go and catch snowflakes on our tongues," I say as we start to run outside before Sora stops us and looks at the guys.

"It's true werewolves can't get sick?"

They gave her an 'are you serious' look but she kept a straight face as if to say yes.

"Yes it's true," Blake responds. We start to cheer.

"FINALLY!!" We scream before booking it into the snow-covered ground, -there was a lot of it so we guessed it must've snowed last night as well- and started running around. Sora stops and looks up to catch snowflakes on her tongue, so did the rest of us.

After a while, the boys came out and played around with us in the snow.

"Hey guys," Zac starts to say, grabbing our attention, "Where's Sora?"

At that moment Sora decided to pop up from underneath the snow right beside Zac causing him to jump.

"I'M HERE!"

"WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU DOING UNDER THE SNOW!!!"

Sora only shrugged in response causing Zac to shake his head at his mate and mutter 'unbelievable'.

We must've been out there for half an hour before the guys came back out and managed to drag us back inside.

I got my Stitch onesie on and when I can downstairs I see Sora wearing plaid patterned long-sleeved pants and a black cami. I'm surprised she wasn't wearing shorts like usual. Astrid was wearing her usual pjs, a light blue, fuzzy-as-hell, long-sleeved top with dark blue star patterned and just-as-fuzzy pants, and Aaliyah has on a lion onesie.

We found the guys in the kitchen with 8 cups of hot cocoa. We each grab one and head to the couches. Astrid finds a box of candy canes in the pantry, and take some, breaking it up into three pieces and dropping them in her cup.

Sora slightly laid on the one couch and both me and Aaliyah laid on her while Astrid got a couch to herself.

"Usually I would've been complaining but you guys are warm and this is comfy," Sora says not taking her eyes off the tv which had the movie playing on it.
