Chapter 21: Thrill of the Chase

Energy could be seen crackling around Cell's body. 16, 18, and Guldo were horrified by what just happened, but King Cold didn't seem to care. Cell turned his head, and looked at 18.

(Android 16)"He wants you, 18. Let's go!"

He grabbed 18's arm, and ran away. Cell turned around, and flew towards them with incredible speed. He stopped in front of them, and 16 stopped running.

(Android 16)"No!"

Cell laughed at 16, then spoke, and every time he said anything with an "S" sound, it would sound like a snake hissing, like how Burter talks.

(Cell)"You thought you could run away? I'm much faster now, and twice as strong!"

(Cell)"You can't escape me, it's over! You had a small window of time to kill me, but it's gone now!"

Cell looked into the ocean, inspecting his new form.

(Cell)"Hmm, this face is much more appealing than the last. Once I merge with 18, I'll probably look better."

He turned back around, and was punched in the face by 16, but it didn't even faze him. Without saying a word, Cell put his hand in front of 16's face.

(Android 18)"16, look out!"

Cell fired a blue energy blast at 16, knocking him on his back. 16 sat up, and the the right side of his head was blown off, revealing mechanical components.

(Cell)"Hehe, now 18, your next."

He started to walk towards 18, but he suddenly stopped in his tracks.

(Cell)"Wh-What the?! Why can't I move?!"

He looked up, and saw Guldo. He was using his telekinesis to keep Cell in place.

(Cell)"Guldo?! When did you get here?!"

(Guldo)"You...you aren't getting your hands on that cyborg!"

Cell was slowly moving towards Guldo, so he put more energy to his telekinesis, with veins present on all four of his eyes.

(Guldo)"Oh...no...you don't!"

Android 18 took the opportunity to grab 16, and they flew away.

(Cell)"N-No! I'm not going to let my chance of perfection slip away again!"

With all his might, he raised his hand at Guldo, and fired an energy ball at him. It hit the green psychic, and he fell to the ground, allowing Cell to move again.

(Cell)"I'll deal with you later!"

He flew off after 18. When he was out of sight, Guldo ate a senzu bean, and went to the ocean to find Ginyu. He pulled him out of the water, and gave him a senzu bean.

(Ginyu)"Ugh, what happened?"

(Guldo)"Something bad, Cell absorbed 17, and he's after 18!"

(Ginyu)"What?! Now what are we gonna do?!"

King Cold walked over to them.

(King Cold)"Why are you still worrying? Did you forget I'm still here?"

(Ginyu)"N-No sir! I know that you can beat him!"

(King Cold)"Good, now go back to that little Lookout, Guldo and I will take care of Cell and that cyborg."

(Ginyu)"Yes, sire!"

Cold and Guldo flew after Cell. They found Cell floating above multiple islands, and he was currently destroying them one by one.
