Chapter 32: The Planet of Darkness

On the second floor, a terrible stench was immediately noticable.

(Cooler)"Ugh! Where's this smell coming from?!"

(Chiliad)"I don't know, but I just discovered that I can still feel nauseous!"

A giant, spiked, green monster appeared.

(???)"Mmm, which one of you should I eat first?"

(Tundrai)"Eww! What is that thing?!"

(Wyndolyn)"That's the horrible beast, Yakon. For thousands of years, he's been killing and consuming all who challenge him."

(Chiliad)"I'm going to fight you, Yakon."

Yakon swung his arms at Chiliad, and he jumped high into the air. The two traded blows with eachother, and as the green beast charged at Chiliad, his arm blades extended, slashing at the Frost Demon on the way down. It looked like he missed, but them a huge slash mark appeared on Chiliad's chest.

(Chiliad)"That was close! He almost cut me down to size!"

(Babidi)"Hmm, from that last fight, I should be more careful. He doesn't need my help, but he's gonna get it!"

Babidi's voice could be heard in the room.

(Babidi)"Hey! Listen up, Yakon! How would you like to go to your favorite place, the Planet of Darkness?"

(Yakon)"Oh, yes! The Planet of Darkness!"

(Babidi)"Alright, don't go and lose now!"

(Babidi)"PA-PARA-PA-PA!"

The room went pitch black.

(Cooler)"Great, now where are we?"

(Shin)"This is the Planet of Darkness, it's so far out in the universe, that no light can reach it."

(Yakon)"Welcome to the planet of darkness. You're scratching your head, aren't you? You can't see me, but I can see you!"

(Chiliad)"Does this idiot really think that turning off the lights will help him?"

Yakon got behind Chiliad, and was about to cut him in half, but the Frost Demon quickly turned around, and kicked him in the face, launching him into a wall.

(Yakon)"Wh-What?! You can see in the dark too?"

(Chiliad)"No, I can sense your energy. Oh, and I can smell your rancid breath."

(Tundrai)"Nice one, dad!"

(Chiliad)"And even if I couldn't do either of those things, I could just do this."

Chiliad got into his golden form, illuminating the dark planet. Babidi used an energy meter to check Chiliad's power, and it was 3,000 Kilis.

(A single Kili is the equivalent of a power level of 50,000.)

(Babidi)"I don't believe this! How did we not find these guys before?! Just one of them has 3,000 Kilis, while Yakon only has 800!"

(Dabura)"With just 300 Kilis, it's possible to destroy a planet or two!"

(Yakon)"I see, then the darkness can't help me anymore. But, victory is still mine!"

Yakon opened his mouth, and deeply inhaled. The aura from Chiliad was getting sucked in, and Chiliad had to wrap his tail around a stalagmite to not get sucked in as well. Chiliad suddenly got out of his gold form, and Yakon swallowed the energy he took.

(Tundrai)"Hey, what did that guy just do?"

(Wyndolyn)"That's Yakon's special ability, he can eat light, and Chiliad's golden energy is undoubtedly his greatest meal by far."

(Yakon)"Amazing! I've never eaten light so delicious, and with such volume before!"

(Chiliad)"You ate it? Well then, here comes the main course!"

He got back into his gold form, and Yakon began to eat the light again.

(Shin)"What's he doing?! He's going to give him what he wants?!"

(Cooler)"Don't take my brother for a fool. He's an incredibly smart fighter, he knows what he's doing."

(Shin)"I hope you're right about that."

(Cooler)"I know I am."

(Babidi)"Yakon, you fool! How am I supposed to get his energy, if you keep eating it?! You have to damage him to get his energy, Majin Buu can't absorb it like this, you know!"

Chiliad was slowly being dragged closer to Yakon, so he shoved his feet into the ground to stay in place. Yakon's body quickly got bigger from eating so much light, and he exploded without warning. The room returned to normal, and the floor opened.

(Cooler)"See? What did I tell you?"

(Shin)"These Frost Demons are something else!"

(Babidi)"Oh no! There's only two stages left, and I don't have another fighter!"

(Dabura)"Master, don't worry. I'll take care of them now."

(Babidi)"Huh?!"

(Dabura)"For Stage Three, I'll be the warrior they must fight! And you have my word that I will give Majin Buu all their energy when I destroy them!"

(Babidi)"But Dabura...if you are beaten by them, then who will protect me? You must promise me that you'll win!"

(Dabura)"I'll win. I am Dabura, the Demon King! Not even 4,000 Kilis can beat me!"
