A waitress stood staring wide eyed at the customers before her. Seemingly everyone at the Diner had their attention on the scene. Even the cooks were staring in disbelief at what was going on, a huge flame was alit on top the stove but no one seemed to notice. Amar’e sat sipping his tea with eyes closed trying to ignore the heavy stares.

He, himself had ordered 2 pancakes and 2 waffles with 4 eggs, 4 slices of cheese and 10 strips of bacon with a cup of tea. A hefty breakfast but not what captured everyone’s attention, besides he finished that about five minutes ago. He put his cup back down on the table and dare opened his eyes to see his partner.

Good, he’s about three quarters of the way done.

Matthew was almost done wolfing down 55 pancakes that were cascaded in syrup and whip cream along with sides of a dozen scrambled eggs and an entire pig’s worth of bacon. How it was physically possible for a man to eat that much was not questioned or at least not out loud. When he reached his last golden brown saucer of goodness, the young waiter snapped herself out of it and asked nervously, “W-wi-will that be all gentlemen?”

Matthew exhaled as he patted his loaded stomach.

“Yeah thank you. We’ll be taking our check now.”

She sighed in relief and began tapping on her tablet.

“That’ll be 90 credits.”

“Whew, that’s pretty steep. You got this covered right Amar’e?”

A vein was clearly visible on his head from frustration as he took out his Nexus and made the transaction.

“You idiots! The stove!”

“Eh? HOY HOY HOY!!!”

Everyone turned their attention away from the two disciples to the manager scolding the frantic cooks trying to put out the fire. Amar’e took no notice, still grim over that last payment.

“90 creds...do you always have to eat like there is no tomorrow?”

Matthew smiled, embarrassed as he rubbed the back of his head.

“Hey, a man’s gotta eat but now...”

He jumped up out his seat determined.

“It’s time to go find our friend! Let’s go-YAAH!”

Just as Matthew was about to charge off, Amar’e stuck his foot out in the aisle to trip him up and he landed face first.

“Slow your roll again Matt. It’s not even six o' clock yet and you’ve still no idea where the place is. Where are you rushing off to?”

“Ow...alright, you’ve made your point.” He muffled with face still on the floor.
