Destiny felt an intense pounding feeling in her head as if her brain was beating. Her eye sight was hazy and her entire body felt slightly weak and unresponsive. Her stomach growled and a had a strong thirst for any liquid that wasn't alcohol. She promised herself that she would never drink to the point were she'd ever get drunk again. So why'd she feel like she was experiencing the typical side effects of a hangover? Destiny felt wind rushing past her and began to blink her eyed multiple times until they focused. It was sunny and she could just make out what seemed to be desert moving by her. She rose her head which was resting on the side of a car door. The car was a convertible with it's roof down. Driving was Luxi and in the passenger seat was Myra, both friends of Matthew. Next to her in the back was Matthew who was staring out at the desert. He noticed the movement next to him and brought his attention to Destiny.
"Oh...look who decided to wake up. R-rise and shine sleepy head." Matthew greeted her nervously.
Destiny held onto her head, "Matthew, where are we?"
"Well ugh...we're in a state called Nevada on our way to meet Amar'e and Luke."

"WE ARE WHERE!?!?"
"AHH DESTINY SIT DOWN!" Matthew cried.
The car began to swerve on the road.
"I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU NO MATTHEW!"
"DESTINY STOP BEFORE WE CRASHED!"
"THAT SHALL BE THE LEAST OF YOUR WORRIES!!!"

The car was parked at the side of the road with Myra, Luxi and Matthew all sitting as Destiny stood over them steaming. Myra and Luxi each had a large lump on their heads while Matthew's entire face was swollen and unrecognizable. Destiny stood with her arms crossed, thinking long and hard. Her eyes were closed but her eyebrow was twitching from irritation. Then she sighed.
"Fine."
All three looked up at her.
"I'll go and see Amar'e and Luke but after I do and my mind still doesn't change, I want you to take me back to Jean immediately." Destiny stated.
Matthew jumped up excitedly, "Really? You'll come?"
"Yes but don't get excited. I'm coming to be done with all of this, not to rejoin."
"As long as you come Destiny. Amar'e's gonna be so excited to see you."
Destiny's face turned red, "Wh-whatever. It matters not to me."
"We should hurry. Stopping already slowed us down enough and remember, Amar'e said we needed to be at the town early." Myra said.
"Can we go then and this time try not to hit the driver." Luxi said aggravated as she rubbed the lump on her head.

There was an awkward tension in the town of Clawyck. Some of the residents seemed to be packing their things and heading for the hills while others looked as if they were gearing up for war. Children were crying as their parents had to pluck them away from their friends to either go inside or into a car and leave. Women were hustling luggage into a trunk or tools to their husbands who were preparing the to drive to somewhere not there or readying themselves for a fight. Everyone was on edge. It put Amar'e, Luke, Lisa and Ursa on edge too as they walked through the small town. Their presence didn't go unnoticed as they got all kinds of stares from the townspeople as they walked by.
