Eyes set sight on a view,
A far off distance called "you".
You whom stood brightly like the sun,
One can compare you to none.
I wonder why no one can ever compare,
To your kind love and care.
I wonder why you hold such quality,
That can never be contested by quantity.
Life which had been in colors of none,
Now filled with colors of more than one.
The slow, sorrowful tempo on the metronome,
Now a fast, happy tone played at home.
I wonder how joy became such a pleasure?
I wonder how happiness became my treasure?
With you I was able to feel such a high,
I felt like I could spread my wings and fly.
Fly high up in the sky,
No pain, No fear, No worries, just you and I.
Life was filled with wonder,
Plenty there was happiness and laughter.
Life no longer seemed full of pity,
Even if hurting was the reality.
For the truth is..
