When You love someone..

It means you're accepting them for who they are

When you love someone..

You better be ready to feel pain
For through the hurt, you shall gain
Strength of bonds deep within.

When you love someone..

You better be ready to be left behind
You better be ready to wish for a rewind

For when you love someone..

It hurts to hear the words... It's over.

But why do you say those words as if she was the one who left you?
Weren't you the one who said "let's just be friends and nothing else?"

Why do you act as if all she did was hurt you?
Weren't you the one who blamed everything on her for your insecurity?

If you truly love someone..

Even if they break your trust,
You have to be ready to understand
You have to be ready to be open once again

So, what if your eyes were the ones deceiving you?

Why does it always have to revolve around you?

Why would she even go to others on the first place?

It was your fault for neglecting her.
It was your fault for shutting her out when she needed you most.
It was your fault that she had to always try to be happy even if she couldn't.
It was your fault that she neglected the real her.

I thought you already accepted her for who she was?
Since you said when you love someone,
You must love them for who they are.

I thought you would never leave her?
Since you promised to stay no matter how hard she was to be with.

Your hugs, your warmth,
Your good mornings, good nights
Your care, your affection
Your love, and just you..

She misses those all.
She loves those all.

She loves your simple flaws,
She loves all of your imperfections,
She loves your childish side,
She loves your mature side.

She loves everything about you and she wanted to know everything about you.

See, when you love someone,
You have to see them through
Love them even though they've done bad things to you.

When you love someone,
You're ready to endure the pain

But why do you act as if you were the only one who was hurt?

She may have said it was fine,
She may have forgiven you so easily.

But it hurts.
She sees how happy you are with others,
She sees how others would come at you and you would entertain them

She then laughs to herself.

You were always like that,
That's what she loved about you,
So why would she tell you to change?

She instead proves her love is stronger than doubt and hate,

She always asks you first,
She always forgives you,
Even though she wants to believe what she sees.

Now, haven't you been selfish?

She was the same as you.

Yet you never forgave so easily.
You blame her telling her to change,
Even if that was what you loved about her in the first place.

When you love someone,
Love overpowers everything else.

So, why did you treat her ever so unfair?
You were at fault too, but she never counted those mistakes at all.

When you love someone..

You stay and find more reasons to stay.

See when you love someone,
You wouldn't be the one to say that it's over.
Instead, you would say "let's just start over"

And keep the love from where it began.
