"Why do you have to leave?" I complain as I fold my arms and drop them on my chest, to emphasise how mad I was at him.
You're probably wondering who he is; an idiot who happens to be my boyfriend. Hoseok. The majority of the time he's fantastic. Unfortunately, this isn't one of those times.
"You know why I have to leave, my parents."
"What if you don't come back, what will I do then?"
"Yana, you know I'll come back, it's not permanent."
"You'll make my heart break," I pout at him cutely.
He laughs. As he walks towards me, I turn my back on him.
Unexpectedly, he hugs me from behind, rocking me gently from side to side. He was warm and comforting. Helplessly, I smile. No matter how much I tried I couldn't stay mad at him; it was impossible for me.
"I'll mend it back together if that happens" He whispers, softly in my ear.
I giggle apprehensively, "Promise?"
He leans in and kisses my cheek, "Promise."
Gradually, I turn around and face him. Seeing him smile was the highlight of my day, I couldn't help but smile back. Although I didn't want him to leave, no matter how much I tried, I couldn't change his decision. I had to accept Hoseok was going away.
"Hoseok." I pressed my lips against one another as I looked down at the floor.
"Yes?"
I look up at him, slightly smiling, "I'll miss you."
Softly, he places his hand on my cheek, smoothly stroking it. "Me too," He grins, I join in.
Unusually, he holds out a hand and bows before me, "Care for a dance m'lady?" He says in a posh British accent.
Uncontrollably, I begin to laugh. "Since when did you dance Hoseok?"
"Since about..." He checks his wrist, "...now."
Hilarious to say, he didn't have a watch to be checking the time in the first place.
Laughing, I shake my head at him. Why is he so random? I love it so much.
"M'lady, my hand is getting tiresome."
Tiresome? Really. I chuckle a little. Giving into his random antics, I hold on to his hand.
"Fine, I accept your offer sir," I mimic a stereotypical British accent; failing miserably.
"I am glad you did m'lady, or you would have missed a moment of a lifetime."
"A moment of a lifetime?" I accentuate.
Swiftly, he pulls me into his chest, "Indeed."
Astonished, I gasp.
He smirks at me.
I was shaken by how fast he practically dragged me over to him. His strength was surprising and in the least, incredible. Has he been working out? My heart continued to thump against my chest, the thrill of the moment replaying in my mind. Frozen, I stay quiet as he leads.
He slides his hand around my waist, pulling me a little closer towards him. Nervous, I breathe out. With his other hand, still holding tightly onto mine, he pulls it in and lifts it up to both our faces. Looking towards me, he smiles. We release grips, now touching each other palm.
His eyes were soft, looking into my eyes. I couldn't help but blush. We take in the moment, before interlocking our fingers with each other. Unconsciously, I lean my head against his. Feeling more protected. The silence between us was, different. I like it.
