We both fell asleep on the couch sleeping soundly as the movie continued to play throughout the night. Empty tubs of ice-cream were carelessly dismissed and discarded alongside us.
Fidgeting, I nudge Jungkook off my lap. It was warming, but his elbow was hurting my thigh.
Eventually, he places himself on the other side of the couch and continues to sleep, muttering to himself. I licked the remaining ice-cream off my lips and returned to sleep.
Specs of sunlight flashes on my eyes, I blink rapidly stunned at the sudden light. Groaning, I sluggishly get up off the couch.
Slightly disoriented at the view of tubs of ice-cream randomly place around the living room, I rub my eyes. After a while, last night came back to me. No wonder I felt so sick, I ate a lot of ice-cream that night.
Tired, I yawn. My attention turns to look at the sloth which lay curled on the floor, strangely hugging a tub of ice-cream. Smiling, I shake my head the sight was hilarious to witness.
Patches of ice-cream stained his face. Cute. Gently, I nudge him. He squirms but doesn't wake up. I sigh, then kneel down beside him.
He wasn't the same guy I saw coming through the door, that was a different guy. Now, he looks more approachable and kinder.
A nice guy. I smile, this is the real Jungkook. Not the guy I overheard inappropriate rumours by most people.
"Jungkook," I whisper at him, but he didn't wake up, I repeat myself, "Jungkook."
Subtly, he blinks then eventually wakes up. For a second, he looked confused. Looking at me, he smiled, "I like it when you're close to me."
I give him a look, "Jungkook, are you flirting with me?" I tease.
"You wish sweetheart."
"Aw, you even gave me a nickname," I say continuing to tease him.
He laughs while shaking his head. I lend him a hand, "Come on, we need to get to school."
Taking my hand, I pull him up. "Alright," he says as he ruffles his hair.
I pat little bits of popcorn off my crop-top, "Should I shower first or?"
"I'll shower," he says, "How am I going to get my uniform?"
"You can borrow my brothers' he won't mind he has extra anyway."
He nods, then heads upstairs to shower.
Looking around, I sigh at the mess, "I guess I'm cleaning up them," I murmur to myself.
Wearily, I pick up the remote and turn the TV off because I knew it would distract me. One by one, I pick up tubs of ice-cream and head to the kitchen to put them in the bin.
Returning, I organize the sofa and fold up the blanket neatly, placing it alongside the pillows. I caught sight of leftover popcorn which lay carelessly on the floor.
I roll my eyes. Crouching down, I rest on my knees in a puppy position making easier. Head down, in full concentration I begin my work.
As I pick bits of popcorn, I get interrupted causing me to drop them all. I swear Jungkook, what does he want now?
I lift my head, "What-" I gulp, surprised by his sudden appearance.
He leaned slightly on the side of the door giving me a sharp glance. Drops of water dripped from his damp, dark hair which imperceptibly covered his eyes.
There was a noticeable smirk on his face, as he held his towel on his shoulder. Embarrassed, I cover my face.
"Jungkook, you're-" I hesitated to finish. "-Please, wear a shirt."
I hear him chuckle, "Cute. You can't even look me in the eye."
"Jungkook!"
"Ok-ok," he laughs, he chucks a towel over to me, "Your next."
Avoiding eye contact, I grab the towel and quickly head upstairs. What is with him? Even after, I still felt flushed.
I bring my hand to my cheeks, feeling how hot they were. Why am I blushing, it's only Jungkook?
Opening the bathroom, I rush to the counter to soak my face. My heart couldn't stop racing. What did he do to me? I sigh.
One by one, my clothes slide off onto the floor, I didn't bother to pick them up. I walk into the shower and turn on the water.
Rivulets of water flowed through my hair and down my soft cheeks. I close my eyes, listening to the water drain.
Suddenly, an image placed itself in my mind. Quickly, I open my eyes gasping.
What the heck? I quickly showered and got out, wrapping the towel around my body, I head out.
Awkwardly, I bump into Jungkook. What was he even doing upstairs in the first place? Seriously, I don't have time for this.
I fall back slightly, but he held my waist helping me balance. Bothered, I shake him off me.
"What's with you?" He asks me, placing both hands on each of my shoulders.
I look up at him, staring into his eyes for a while. I sigh. The image then showed up again.
I flinch, "Can you get off me?" I say beginning to feel uncomfortable, "Why are you so touchy!"
Taken back, listens. "I'm sorry-"
"Can you shut up?" I say cutting him off proceeding head to my room, quickly.
As I enter, I hastily close the door behind me. Rapidly breathing, I didn't know what has got into me. Everything was going great until now.
I need to get ahold of myself, stat. The way I spoke to Jungkook, he didn't deserve that. He was only trying to look out for me.
Was he even to trying to look out for me?
I can only remember parts of last night.
Hastily, I get changed into my uniform and head downstairs to apologize to him.
"Jungkook?" I say as I race downstairs.
There was no reply, so I repeat myself, "Jungkook!"
I searched in all the rooms, but he wasn't there. Miserable, I slouch on the couch.
He left.
I sigh, grab my bag and head to school; alone.
