*3 months later*
Peyton and Bucky continued to have moments where they would bump heads about the OR. Especially after he bumped hers while she was busy with a patient in the ER.
Once she headed upstairs to go do her surgery she saw that it had been moved. "What the hell?' she whispered
"Dr Roberts Dr Barnes bumped your surgery." her resident said
"oh my god." she whispered.
She heard him coming out of surgery with Steve and she looked at him and walked off. "Uh-oh someone's pissed." Steve said
"You bumped me again!" She said
"Oh I'm sorry." He said in a sarcastic tone.
She went to an on call and screamed into a pillow and then laid down.
Nat said "What the hell did you do to her Barnes she was pissed like blood boiling pissed."
"I bumped her surgery what's the big deal." he said
"The big deal today is not the best day to mess with her." Nat said
"What is it her time of the month or something." Bucky said
"No it's not like that you ass." she said
"Then what is it Nat..she's bitchy all the time and that I can handle I know about how red heads can be bitchy but she's another level. She's like worse than my ex wife Katie."he said
"You better apologize to her Bucky. She needs to keep herself busy today." she said
Bucky realized that something was really wrong about the day if she needed that surgery to keep her busy. He found her in a on call room on the peds floor and he said "Hey I'm sorry I didn't know that you were going to be this upset about me bumping a surgery."
"Just go away." she said
"Peyton." he said
"I said to go away." She said
"What's today to you? Nat said you needed that surgery today to keep you busy." he said
"I'm not telling you ok." she said
He said "Peyton it's obiviously something that Nat and everyone else knows about so why can't I know."
"Because I don't want you to know ok." she said
"Well I already know that you have an ex husband is today the day he asked for a divorce." he said
"No we got divorced 9 months ago." she said as she looked down.
"Peyton why won't you let me know what your story is ." he said
"Cause I don't want you to know." she said as she got up and walked out.
She went down to surgery floor. She performed back to back surgeries. For a good four hours of her shift. When she was done with the last one she was paged to the ER.
"Bed #5 Dr Roberts. A 3 year old and her 5 year old brother. Got a hold of their dad's gun and he shot his little sister." Kaci said
"Oh my god.." she said
She moved the curtain back. "Hi Im Dr Roberts. Lydia can I take a look at your belly baby" she said
She moved Lydia's hands and looked at the wounds. "Get me a OR Kaci." She said
"Yes ma'am" Kaci said
Kaci told the surgery floor to bump who ever cause it was an emergency. Peyton got her in her OR and started to remove the bullets. Bucky came to the surgery floor board.
"Fucking Peyton.." he said
"Buck.." Wanda said
Twenty minutes later she came out of the surgery. "You bitch.." he said
"Excuse me." She said
"My surgery was bumped cause of you again." He said
"Oh Im sorry. I had a 3 year old on the verge of dying cause her brother shot her cause he found his dad's gun. So don't you dare act like arrogant egotistcal ass towards me." She said
"Barnes Roberts..that is enough." Dr Fury said from the second level walk way.
They both looked up at him. Peyton grabbed her charts and walked off.
