Two months later Peyton found Peggy after she finished a consult. "Um Peg can you do a exam for me?"
"Sure P." Peggy said
They went into one of her private exam rooms. Peyton got up on the exam table.
"So what am I doing?" Peggy said as she did an exam.
"I got the implanon after Paisley. But um I'm late Peg." She said
"Okay let's see what we have going on then." Peggy said
Peggy started up the ultrasound "Peyton you are pregnant..9 weeks to be exact." She said then turned on the sound.
Bucky knocked on the door and came in. "Oh my god" he whispered
"Im pregnant." She said
"Yup due in January. And baby looks good." Peggy said.
"But my implanon?" Peyton said
"It more than likely fell out Peyton. And you werent sleeping with anyone till two months ago." Peggy said
She left them in the room and he kissed her. "A baby for us..Im gonna need a bigger condo and more bullets if its a girl." He said
"I want a boy." She said
"Then you are gonna be fine with the mama bear attitude." He said.
They kept the baby news quiet till she felt comfortable to tell the others. When she reached 14 weeks she was starting to round out.
Bucky placed his hand on her bump and whispered. "Oh my baby is growing." As he knelt down and kissed her bump.
"By the way happy birthday mama." He said
"Thank you." He said
He got in his pants and pulled out a ring box. ""Marry me?" He said as he was still knelt down in front of her.

"James..oh my god yes." She said as she saw her ring.
He slid the ring on her finger. "Baby this a beautiful." She said
He kissed her. "I feel it baby. I know we havent been together very long. But I love you baby doll"
"I love you James" she said
They finished getting ready for work and announced their engagement and pregnancy at work. They were all standing in the doctor's lounge when they walked in.
"Hey before we go about our day..we have an announcement to make. We are engaged and expecting our first baby together." Bucky said
"Let me see this rock." Wanda said
The girls gushed over ring and baby bump. That night they had dinner with both families to let them know the two big announcements.
It was announced in the paper and NY's medical journal. Lincoln was in prison when he was reading the paper.
"TWO OF NY'S TOP SURGEONS ARE TYING THE KNOT. TOP NEUROSURGEON JAMES B. BARNES TO WED TOP PEDIATRIC PEYTON P ROBERTS."
He looked down and shook his head. When Peyton was 22 weeks along she was napping in a on call room on the surgery floor. Bucky checked his watch as he came out of surgery.
"Nat have you seen my fiancee?" He said
"She is sleeping in that on call room" Wanda said who was standing beside Natasha.
Bucky went into the room and kissed her bump then he caressed her cheek. "Hey baby." He whispered
"Hey" she said
"We have our appointment in 15 mins." He said
She sat up and kissed him. "I love the way you wake me up." She whispered as they had their foreheads together.
He smiled "I love waking up next to you." He said as they got up.
Peggy did their ultrasound and she said "It's ... a boy! Barnes you are finally getting a football buddy."
They both smiled so big. "Parker James Barnes" she whispered.
"Perfect." Bucky said
They had everyone that night at the apartment. They announced to everyone that they were having a boy and his name.
