As Mason and I finished eating, Dean walked in.

"Mason told me what happened. I'm sorry," Dean gave me an understanding look. I gave him a small, fake smile.

"He also told me that you can control fire. Since I've been practicing it for years, I can teach you some," Dean offered.

"Sounds great."

We heard a loud voice outside. Dean ran to the window and peeked outside. The voice got louder.

"I know you're one of them!"

"Okay, okay! Just please... Don't hurt my family. Take me as your prisoner, but leave my children out of it," another voice pleaded.

"We're not taking prisoners today," I could hear the smile in his voice. There was a scream, and Dean looked back at us in shock.

"The Aqua Raiders," he whispered. Mason nodded.

"C'mon. We have to go," Mason led us to the back door, away from the intruders. There was a bang on the front door, and I jumped.

"OPEN UP!" a loud voice yelled. Mason slipped outside, followed by Dean. Just as my foot reached past the doorway, a loud crash came from behind me.

"There!" The voice boomed. I glanced behind me to see the invaders had busted the front door down. I jumped outside, but felt someone grab my foot.

Falling down, I screamed and tried to escape.

"I got her!" an Aqua Raider yelled.

"Ahhh! Mason! Help!" I cried out.

"Scarlet! Grab my hand!" Mason reached towards me, and I grabbed his hand. He pulled me out of the Aqua Raider's grip.

"Don't let them get awa-" I cut the attacker off by shooting a flame his way. Mason tugged me away.

"I'll hold em off! Go!" Dean ran in front of us. I stared in awe as flames engulfed the raiders. Mason dragged me away.

We ran through an alleyway and hid. Mason's face was stricken with worry. We had no idea if his brother would make it out.

"You okay?" We asked each other simultaneously. Both of us nodded.

"Alright, let's go!" Dean rounded the corner and entered the alley. All three of us ran away. Looking back for the last time, I saw smoke rising. The house we were staying at was being burnt to the ground.

Go, now! Run...

Xavier's voice rang in my head. I wiped at my eyes and continued to run.

"Where are we going?" Mason called out.

"I know a place," I answered, determination in my voice.
