"Really? Where?" Mason asked hopefully.

"My house. It's guarded well, and I need to go there anyways," I explained.

"Let's get a taxi," Dean suggested. I nodded. After calling a taxi, I handed the driver some cash and gave him some directions. We hopped in the car and headed to my mansion.

Mason gasped as we pulled into the drive.

"Y-You're rich?" he asked.

"I was rich. We can't stay long. It's too dangerous," I warned him.

"Then let's go inside," Dean spoke up. Mason and I nodded, then the two brothers followed me inside.

"No one's here," I whispered to myself. Everyone probably heard the news about Xavier and me. I wouldn't blame em if they just up and left. I would of too.

"We can stay a few nights, but that's it. Someone will find us if we stay too long," I cautioned.

As I looked around my home, I realized something. I took everything here for granted. Never truly appreciating my life. Now all of it was gone.

I examined a shelf in the kitchen slowly. There was a picture on it. It was of Xavier and I. I picked it up and held it close.

"There's a bedroom you guys can stay in upstairs, to the right," I looked at Dean. He nodded in response.

"C'mon Mason. Let's give her some space," Dean whispered to his brother and they walked upstairs.

I looked at the picture and opened the back of the frame. After I took the picture out, I placed the frame back on the counter and ran upstairs to my room.

"Scissors, scissors, scissors..." I mumbled to myself as I looked through my shelves.

After I found a pair, I cut the photo so that it was just a small picture of Xavier's face and mine.

I walked towards my dresser and picked up a locket. It was one Xavier bought for me not long after my parents died.

Opening it up, I carefully placed the picture inside, closed it, and put the locket around my neck.

"There," I sighed.
